I recently upgraded to the Oral-B iO Deep Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush and I have to say, it’s a game changer for my oral care routine.Pros:Effective Cleaning Performance: The deep clean function on this toothbrush really stands out. The brushing power is strong yet gentle, and I noticed a significant difference in the cleanliness of my teeth after just a few uses. My teeth feel smoother and cleaner compared to my previous toothbrush. The brush heads are high-quality, providing a thorough clean while being gentle on gums.Pressure Sensor: The pressure sensor feature is a fantastic addition! It lights up if you’re brushing too hard, which is really helpful to avoid damaging your gums. It provides a gentle reminder to use the right amount of pressure, which I appreciate because I tend to press too hard with regular brushes.3 Cleaning Settings: I love the versatility with the 3 cleaning modes—Daily Clean, Sensitive, and Deep Clean. This allows me to customize my brushing experience based on how my teeth and gums feel that day. The Sensitive mode is especially great when my gums are feeling a bit sensitive, while the Deep Clean mode provides that extra fresh feeling.Smart Timer: The 2-minute timer with a pause every 30 seconds ensures that I’m brushing each quadrant of my mouth long enough for a complete clean. It’s a great reminder to make sure I’m brushing for the full recommended time without overdoing it on any one area.Sleek Design: The Black iO Series 3 looks elegant and modern. The handle is comfortable to grip and has a nice weight to it without being too bulky. The design also feels premium, and it looks really good on the bathroom counter.Travel Case & Extra Brush Heads: The included travel case is a nice bonus, making it easy to take the toothbrush on trips without worrying about damage. It’s compact, and the brush heads are easy to change out.Cons:Price: This toothbrush is definitely an investment. While the features and performance are excellent, it’s priced higher than standard electric toothbrushes. However, given the quality and the added features, I do feel it’s worth the price.Battery Life: While the battery lasts a decent amount of time, it’s not as long as some other models out there. It requires charging every couple of weeks depending on use, but this isn’t a huge inconvenience for me.Overall Thoughts:The Oral-B iO Deep Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush is one of the best toothbrushes I’ve ever used. The combination of powerful cleaning, gentle gum protection, and smart features like the pressure sensor and timer makes brushing feel like a more effective and enjoyable experience. If you’re looking to invest in your oral hygiene routine, this toothbrush is well worth it.

Motivates me to brush longer
I’ve used Oral B tooth brushes for over twenty years, and when the one I’ve been using for the last 10 finally died, I bought another without any thought or research at all. I was surprised to find this toothbrush had new features that have made a big difference to what had been successful but hit and miss oral care. The new brush signals with a quick brush pulse when 30 seconds has passed, increasing the number of pulses with each 30 second segment, signaling with four quick pulses when two minutes has expired. Then, when the brush is turned off (after two minutes) I’m rewarded with a full spectrum light show.I seldom did the recommended two minute brush with my old Oral B, but I have been motivated by this simple feedback and reward system to spend two or more minutes every time I brush. I also like the fact that if I have to turn it off briefly, it doesn’t reset to the beginning, but keeps track of where I am in the two minute cycle. It also alerts me after I’ve used the same brush for three months, so I can replace it if I choose.

Takes a Minute to Get Used To, But Worth It
I held off on getting one of these for a long time. Mostly because the price felt high compared to a regular toothbrush. But after some dental issues came up, I finally decided it was worth trying. There was a small learning curve. I made a mess the first couple of times because I didn’t realize how different it would feel. Toothpaste went everywhere. But once I got used to it, I started to really appreciate the features. Some things that stood out to me:The pressure sensor lights help a lot. I tend to brush too hard, so this keeps me in checkThe timer makes sure I brush for a full two minutes, which I never used to doMy teeth feel cleaner and look noticeably whiter after a few weeksIt’s quiet, lightweight, and comfortable to holdI only have to charge it about once every two weeks, even with twice-a-day useIt reminds you when it’s time to change the brush head, which is a nice touchI’ve had it for a few months now, and I’m really glad I made the switch. It’s made a real difference in how my mouth feels throughout the day. Would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about upgrading.

Works well. Battery life could be better.
I bought the Oral-B iO Deep Clean toothbrush, after using the Oral-B battery powered toothbrushes for years. I wasn’t sure how much of difference this toothbrush would make, as I always felt the battery powered toothbrushes did a great job. I was pleasantly surprised as just how clean my teeth felt after only few uses. Admittedly, I had to get used to the vibration, but it makes less noise than my battery powered Oral-B toothbrush. I really like how different indicator lights let you know if you’re putting too much or too little pressure while brushing. There is a timer that vibrates every 30 seconds (2 minutes total). There is an indicator light that also tells you when to change the brush head, something I likely didn’t do enough using the battery powered toothbrushes. I also appreciate how easily the brush head comes off to clean the brush head and base. There are 3 cleaning modes to choose from: Daily Clean, Sensitive, and Whitening. I don’t find this feature helpful, as there isn’t any way to know (e.g. indicator light) which mode you chose. The description for this toothbrush claims the battery lasts 2 week, before needing to be charged again. I have not found this to be the case. I usually need to charge mine by day 10. Like others reviewers have said, I wish it gave you a warning that the battery was getting low, instead of when it was already dead. My toothbrush takes a day to fully charge. I have had 2 instances, after I had fully charged the toothbrush, that low battery indicator came on again and it wouldn’t work. Each time I took the toothbrush head off and put it back on, and it worked 🤷🏻♀️.I bought it during the Amazon Prime Days, at 40% off. While I really like the Oral-B iO Deep Clean Toothbrush, I don’t feel it’s worth the full price of $99.99.
