Cracking good amp pack.
No brainer purchase. Don't think, just buy if you need a small, good sounding amp.Yes the bass is all but missing, but it is implied. It is in the overall sound. Yes, sometimes they do sound like little boxes, that's because they are. But...Good cleans, nice dirt, great delay, ISF works well. The stereo image produced belies the size. The dry sound comes from the speakers, but the wet seems to come from around them. Very subtle and very pleasant. I'm using them connected to my television as extension speakers. Vastly superior sound quality to the awful speakers fitted to the television plus I get the bonus of a practice amp in the living room. Makes for great playalongs too.Compared to pretty much every other micro-combo, it wipes the floor with their sorry carcasses. A very enjoyable amp to play. The headphones/line out are 'emulated' so your guitar doesn't sound like a banjo on a bad day. It actually records via the line out remarkably well too.The onboard gain is nice enough and very usable, but this also takes pedals very well too and a subtle overdrive sweetens the deal. Loud enough to mildly irritate neighbours. Recommended.

Blackstar FLY 3 Battery Combo Stereo Pack
These are a Christmas present from my wife and what a wonderful present.First things first: these will not replace a full size amplifier as together the speakers only give 6 watts total output. Having said that the output volume and tonal quality is far beyond what you would reasonably expect from something this size and price. The reverb and overdrive are really a bonus, though not essential. This makes an ideal practice amp with the facility to add input, through auxiliary socket, of an iPod or any other mp3 player or device with a 3.5mm input cable (not included in the package).I have had limited time to play with this but am very impressed with this as a rehearsal amp and if confined to a smallish venue might even be enough for performance playback, though I would suggest a more substantial main stream amp. This set-up can also be used simply as speakers for use anywhere for playing back music through the aux. input, however volume and tone control are from the input device rather than the amp controls on the main unit. I have tried that and certainly beats any other portable speakers mI have seen and tried. These are not tiny, like some of the portable speakers about although in the box they should fit okay in a small holdall.I am very pleased with these and recommend them to anyone looking for easy portability with quality output.

These have an incredible sound completely worth every penny!
~{WHAT YOU GET}~2 Black star mini amps, one with an input and various controls and the other is just an additional speaker that can be connected via the cable attached. You also get a mains adapter for use without batteries as the amps can be battery powered, and an instruction manual~{OVERALL REVIEW}~These little amps are fantastic, totally worth the money. These have the best sound out of all the mini amps I have heard, they are loud but the actual sound quality of the amps both clean with no gain and distorted with gain sounds fantastic! These would be a great purchase for someone that doesn't have the room for a full size amp because this makes a great substitute I couldn't recommend these more

Excellent
This little amp isn't lacking in features or sound quality. The clean sound is exceptional for such a small speaker and the excellent delay adds a depth and character to the sound that is beyond expectations. Cranking up the gain gives you some quite natural sounding breaks which gives a decent crunch sound. The overdrive does a good job of mimicking the great rock guitar sounds that you get from the bigger amps Blackstar make (I also own an id60 TVP combo). The tonal shapes you can get out of the ISF (EQ) feature is fantastic and gives you lots to play around with. Finally the line in and emulated out means you can plug in a laptop, MP3 Player or phone, put your headphones on and silently jam along which is great for practising. All in all this is a fantastic value for money little amp and speaker combo.

Excellent product. I have big amps and small amps ...
Excellent product. I have big amps and small amps for guitars and bass and recently purchased two fly 3 amps for my electro acoustic guitar and mic. Using them with the little additional extension cabinate. Great sound unlike other belt clip on amps and mini amps I had in the past that very quickly lost any quality that they did have.I use these fly 3's for acoustic jams, with an sm58 mic into one of them just to project my singing a little more. Obviously not for gigs. The bass amp is great too and I mainly wanted this to give my fretless acoustic bass a tad more projection. Does the job. Wouldn't use it to turn up loud as the nature of the lower frequency it doesn't work so amazingly very loud.Recommended if using as I am, to slightly amplify acoustic jams etc but not gigs although may be great too for busking.Try it!

The Little Amp That Can!
More powerful than you realise, especially when you show others and don't tell them how loud it is and look at their surprise/that can't be right reactions when you tell them "just six watts!" and add to that potentially battery powered...yes other people's brains melt. The guitar signal remains intact without unwanted breakup or crushing throughout, the distortion is a proper distortion and with that you'll see yourself doing chug-cha-chug-cha-chug bluesy style shuffles and more metal palm muted power chords to your satisfaction.Ultimately, if your guitar has an emphasis to being bright or dull (as you require in tonality) then this will do its job in amplifying that and you have the ability to modulate that sound using the built-in equaliser (the touted Infinite Shape Feature) but more importantly than that is the fact that this little amplifier not only certainly can but is perfectly adequate for small gigs and/or as a way for you to hear what you're playing.
