I spent ages trying to work out which camera would be most useful to connect to my Mac for video conferencing.Once I had set this up, and made a couple of minor adjustments on Microsoft teams and zoom, I was extremely happy with the video quality in my two video conference is on Thursday and Friday.When I asked the people on the other end of the conferences, they said that my picture was amongst the sharpest of all of those who had attended.

Needed something to facilitate remote participation in meetings and this worked well. Quality of the picture very good and the remote participants seemed to hear the people in the room well enough. My only negative comment is that it wasn't a simple plug in and it works - like one that I borrowed. I needed to find where to click to make it work and I managed it but I am not very IT literate and it could have been easier. Having said that, for the price, this is an excellent bit of kit!

Camera is a bit too big so ended up returning it but seems to be okay, would be better for people for work from home and either have no monitor above or are ok shoving it up more, for streamers/gaming probably not, didn’t seem very good in the dark

4K version, recommendedI tested a few web cams; this one has good quality video and voice.

I bought the VIZOLINK W8GS Webcam to set up a front-facing camera while using external monitors with my laptop, and it’s been fantastic. The image quality is excellent, and the built-in microphone captures clear audio while effectively blocking out background noise. The plug-and-play setup was quick and seamless, making installation hassle-free. It mounts easily to my screen, and I appreciate that it comes with a stand if I want to use it on my desk instead. Overall, a great webcam for video calls, or conferencing.

This is the second of the cameras that I’ve had the first was a Christmas present which had to be returned because it had a device identify error when trying to plug the device in and Windows wouldn’t pick it up.So I ordered it myself separately and Windows picks it up fine butthe image quality is very poor. It’s definitely not a 4K camera very grainy I have a 4K monitor and the image was 1440 P resolution and very grainy. In addition the auto focus keeps constantly shifting even when you’re not moving, creating a very poor image for zoom meetings and such. I would avoid.

I’m very happy with the image quality on this, but the clamp isn’t that great, it does stay on my laptop but will fall off if I try to adjust it or turn on the security slider, seems to kind of defeat the purpose. I haven’t tried the tripod yet so I can’t comment on that, seems well made and sturdy though.
