10 Metres of 40" Wide 10oz Quality Hessian - Upholstery Fabric Craft

This product is excellent. 1m wide roll hessian of high quality. There is no funny smell like with some hessian products. I am using most of it to make table runners for my wedding. I chopped 4 lengths last night, I was careful to cut along one line of thread to ensure I don't end up with any fraying edges, this was really easy to do and I think they will look great. Much much cheaper than buying hessian table runners pre made and I can cut them to whatever width or length I like. I will also be using the remainder to make some bunting for my wedding. I think the edges will fray in this instance, as I will cut it into triangles, but I will try to sew along the edge or potentially coat it in PVA glue to prevent this - this would be inevitable with any hessian.

Excellent product. Used in attic under unlined slate roof for roof insulation.

I have ordered from this seller before and the fabric is great I use it for various projects from upholstery work to crafts, it’s of good weight and structure really nice to work with.

I used this to make my halloween costume, which won a competition at a halloween event. Wasn't the easiest material to work with, but held together well throughout the night. Used thread and hot glue to hold it together, with the hot glue the material would fray. Not sure if this is just my inexperience or the product. Overall I was very pleased with what I purchased, but not sure I would recommend it for more than craft projects.

This product was not fire retardant so couldn’t be used for its purpose . Would be helpful if this was mentioned in the product description itself.

Really loved the fabric and how easy it was to cut and sew! Didn't have any problems on the sewing machine either. The fabric was very sheer and not as thick as I would have liked but still none the less I used it for the intended purpose which was to make my own hessian roman blinds! I guess I could have doubled the layers to achieve a more opaque blind but then I added a voile panel beneath the hessian which did the job so overall I'm really glad I ordered the fabric! Thanks for the super fast delivery too!
