BadgerMuscle Rub Organic Certified Organic Cayenne & Ginger Soothes & Relaxes 21g

Currently suffering sore neck and shoulders and can't drive etc. In trying anything for relief I've used a massage mat, ibuprofen gel, infrared gadget, wheatbag, gentle exercise and a massage ball but got a big surprize when I found this actually soothed my aches! I bought it because of the other reviewers good comments and it was delivered quickly which was a boon. Its something I'm going to continue to use. There's a kind of sensation on the skin after massaging it in and it has a really nice smell too. So many of these muscle treatments make you smell like a horse blanket but this one is rather nice :)

This smells lovely and warming.Very good stuff that I'll definitely buy again.I've had some rubs like this before that have burned my skin and irritated - I have sensitive skin. This rub is soothing and gentle but it feels really good to use it and the smell isn't overwhelming, it rubs in nicely without leaving lots of greasy residue.

This muscle rub has an extremely impressive list of organic ingredients. I've studied aromatherapy enough to recognise many pain-relieving and muscle-improving items listed.I've tried this on three areas of muscle pain so far. Two areas which were only mildly painful were very much helped by using this muscle rub after about three or four daily applications. The more severe, long-term painful area did not show any obvious improvement. However, I think, in view of the fact that the mild pain was so much better after using this rub, I suspect there probably has been improvement in the severe pain but it has not been so noticeable.I would like to give this product 5 stars but the size of tin is so small it has to have a star deducted. Also, you need to be a fairly patient person to remove sufficient product from the tin each time you use it without forcing the whole lot out.I might buy again in the future, but, first, I intend making my own concoction by mixing cayenne pepper and powdered ginger in almond oil and beeswax to see if that has a similar effect. I'll update this as appropriate at a later date.Edited 9/7/16. I've been using my own concoction daily for the past 9 months and I have found great relief from doing so. My friend has also tried my version and reckons it helps her stiff joints. My version works out to be about a tenth of the cost but it is very messy to make up and potentially dangerous unless you are very careful that it doesn't combust when being melted. If you're interested I suggest you check on line.

Helpful instructions including how to get it off your skin if it's irritating and all the ingredients. Contains beeswax, however, so not vegan. Tin is well reusable and recyclable. Produced in the US – can't really justify all those miles. Smells gorgeous from a combination of herbs and spices and is a lovely moisturising wax. Unfortunately that seems to be all it does – very surprising, given the cayenne and ginger. No effect on my muscles beyond just the rubbing. I've even tried using it on my fingers when I get poor circulation, Raynaud's type, sore patches. I still don't feel any warmth! And my skin is very sensitive, especially my hands. Of course everyone's skin is different, so, as it recommends, first test it on a small patch that you can easily wash it off from.

I am an Osteopath who uses this for general soft tissue. Its perfect for people in a similar profession because of the consistency/texture (amazing for integrating between soft tissue and mobilisations/HVT) and great natural scent. I wouldn't recommend this for massage therapists as you'll run out quick. Nor would I recommend it for self use. I see people complaining about the amount you get for the price but its clearly stated...

It is brilliant I had accident 7 years ago and I suffer with my legs since and I'm on strong tablets but only take them when I go to work I only took a couple of anadin on Saturday rubbed my knees and muscles it was great been on days off took no pills just rubbed cream on and I'm decorating feel great it really helps it helps my Husband to he had gout

My wife has sore knees from time to time, so I ordered this EXPENSIVE tiny little tin about 1 and half inch diameter, thinking that it would SAY ON THE TIN, that it would help. (you will worry when after you pay for this tin, plus mad postage that you hope you made right decision, then it is going to have to become mind over matter)My wife felt nothing, after two applications (she is not insensitive either, bless her).Yes, it smells nice, etc, but that was not why I bought it. I resorted to my old tube of MUSCLE RUB (rapidly running out, but was only able to buy in USA), that smells like Deep heat, and that did the trick. If you look up these tins, they have lovely little gimmicky pictures on the tins, pretty little pictures, but what was inside, texture of boot polish, was useless.

The picture is so large that it misrepresents the size of the product. I know it says 21g. It's about the size of a coin. The rub is a hard grease that smells & feels quite nice but requires massaging to apply.

Aunque no da efecto calor, se nota más caliente y confortable la zona donde se masajea. El único pero es su pequeño tamaño, pero la relación calidad-precio está bien.

This is an excellent product.

I really have nit noticed any difference in my knee pain hence my rating. The scent is nice and it goes on very smooth but I honestly do not notice much of a difference. Maybe I need to use it more so I'm going to give it a chance and keep trying.
