For magnesium oil, good quality
I bought this to make magnesium oil, like other customers, by mixing it equal parts with purified or distilled water. You boil the water and add to the magnesium flakes, stirring until dissolved. Works out far cheaper than buying ready-made, and this will last ages.. The quality seems fine, and am confident you will not end up with any health problems, if used in this manner. From what I've read, the body only absorbs as much magnesium as it requires, so if you're applying it to skin, any excess will simply not be absorbed, I would guess. If you took too much of this internally, you might end up with diarrhea, worst case. Although: this is not food grade, so not recommended for internal consumption. The chemical analysis of this product is pretty typical for most magnesium chloride products, with low values for heavy metals, arsenic etc. This can also be used for magnesium supplementation for plants, although you have to be careful with dosage, in order not to introduce too much chloride, which can be toxic for plants, which is why magnesium sulphate (epsom salts) is more commonly used for this purpose.Would recommend and buy again.

Worthwhile product
I haven't started using it yet but my osteopath has endorsed straying a solution on bare skin regularly.I don't think we should be bullied about our reviews. They are a pain to do and there's only so much you can say about most things. Magnesium, for instance; gorgeous, fabulous?

I am having a brilliant night sleep and actually waking up before the alarm ...
Having suffered for 5 years with an autoimmune disease which impacts my tendons, I was at my wits end on what to do. Following a rant on FB with my frustrations one of my mates suggested magnesium flakes. Its only been a week but I'm off the pain killers and not suffering anywhere close to what i was. My pain is both arms, hands, legs and hips. So I spray this stuff over my body when i go to bed. I am having a brilliant night sleep and actually waking up before the alarm goes off. So this product works for me. It turned up quickly and the packaging is very practical. At £6 or so, this has been the most effective and yet cheapest thing i have tried.

Really Worked for Me
I have painful feet with numbness under the toes and stabbing pains and cramps in my legs at night. I have been using these in conjunction with reading Transdermal Magnesium Therapy Book. Within one week of soaking my feet twice a day they are very much improved. I am hoping this will continue as the weeks go by. One word of warning I do think you should be careful with self medication because I have learned that you can overdose your body with Magnesium as with any other therapy of this kind.

Cant see any improvements after a few weeks
Been using this for a few weeks now and havent noticed any benifits.I used it to make the oil solution, which I spray every day (10 sprays). I use a 50/50 solution with distilled water and I still ache and my psoriasis hasnt improved at all, so not sure if its doing any good or not.I will carry on and see if time produces any changes, or maybe use it in the bath, although according to the instructions you would need half to all of the tub for a bath !I very much doubt I will buy this again.

soft skin
My skin has been very dry and this makes it hydrated and smooth. I mostly bought it for my husband who is suffering with joint pain and this helps. I only bought a small tub to try but will be ordering more. Very quick delivery and arrived sooner than than expected.

When used, several times now it doesn't seem to have the same effect as usual. I've been using magnesium for some time & needed to purchase this because I couldn't find the other flakes I bought elsewhere. So I'm not sure on the strength of these or what was different in them (if anything can be different). I made an order from my old supplier as this one doesn't seem to do what I am used to.

Great experience from order to delivery. Highly recommended!
Add a generous handful of flakes to your bath for a relaxing experience. To make magnesium oil, add a small amount of water (approx 40%) to a small amount of flakes, mix until dissolved, and administer using a spray bottle. Leave on for 10-20 minutes before showering or bathing. Test on a small area of skin first and avoid using on broken or sore skin.
Safety Warning
Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin. Patch test before use. Not recommended for use on sensitive skin. Rinse immediately if irritation occurs.

Your body will only absorb as much magnesium oil as it needs and no more so there is no risk of \"Overdosing\", however, we find spraying it on your body 20 minutes before a shower or bath is a sufficient amount if using it regularly. Using this in a bath before bed time will also help you relax before sleeping. Although I can't see any real problem with leaving it on overnight this may be messy and won't let your body absorb any more oil than usual. As it won't cause any harm, you can try it and see how you feel and go from there. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Beth"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Can this be disolved in water and taken orally?
