Three-Way Splitter Adapter Compatible with PetSafe Healthy Pet Simply Feed Automatic Feeder

SORRY... I still think for a simple piece of plastic its rather costly... :-(HOWEVER.... having said that, it is worth the cost as it splits food perfectly between 3 bowls just as advertised. I did see some reviews bashing it for NOT doing so, but I have not witnessed any sort of misbehavior by this device, it simply and quietly does what it is supposed to! :-)

I have TWO cats (5 months old at the time of this review), not three.. but I bought the 3-way diverter because the 2-way version's chutes are a little too close together, like at 12:00 and 3:00 positions. The 3-way diverter has 12:00, 3:00, and 6:00 .. I have 3:00 plugged with some tin foil, and just use the 12:00 and 6:00 ones. This way, I can keep the two bowls as far apart as possible.First off, if you have already set up your feeder with the bowl and bowl-ring / holder that come with the unit, you'll have to take the lid off and bin out of the unit.. grab a small flathead screw driver, reach into the unit, and unhinge the little hooks that keep the bowl ring in place. Should take you a few minutes at the most.The first copy of the diverter I received didn't fit. No matter how it was jammed up there, you could dislodge it with your pinky. I was just about to super glue it into place, but decided to contact the company. Jarrod responded pretty much instantly and shipped me a new copy at no charge. This one fit in much, much better. They may have different 3D schematics depending on your particular feeder unit, not sure. So far so good, and thanks Jarrod for a quick response and solution.See attached picture. I also made a cardboard cutout of the footprint of the feeder and both of the bowls so that the cats can't knock them around. The picture shows one of the bowls to the side so you can see the (very imprecise) cutout of one of the bowls.1 feeder, 1 diverter, 2 bowls = 2 happy cats that don't wake me up any more. Awesome !

The media could not be loaded. This product works just like it’s advertised! This little add- on makes morning and vacationing much more peaceful. It’s the perfect fit for the PetSafe automatic feeder.I was looking around for a three- way automatic cat feeder and to my surprise it’s not a thing. (Guess not everyone is a crazy cat lady) Luckily I stumbled upon the 3D printed three- way splitter, cause I was not about to spend hundreds on 3 separate feeders.It’s super easy to install, literally just shove it in. I will admit that the nozzles are a little close together, but I’ve always fed my cats with their bowls right next to each other, so it’s not an issue for me at least.Oh! If you don’t want your cats moving the bowls so that food doesn’t go all over the floors, use some double sided tape to keep it in place as you can see at the beginning of the video.Overall this is seriously a great addition to the automatic feeder. Plus shipping was 3 days sooner than expected! Great customer service, great product, I highly recommend it!!!

This did not fit my Pet Safe feeder. The attachment part is too big. Very disappointed.

When I can get the splitter to stay in, it works fairly well. You need slender long dishes as the splitter does not protrude out enough for even small round dishes. Disappointing!

This looks well made, but breaks fairly easily if dropped. My first order broke into two pieces in the post, and had to be returned. It stays in the machine by using a column that supports it from underneath, rather than fitting snugly into the dry food chute. This means that if you move the feeder it tends to falls out (e.g. when cleaning around it), but is stable if the machine is untouched. The buttons and programming work well, and the instructions are good. The splitter does a good job of evenly dividing the food between three pets, but the chutes are very steep and deposit the food too close to the machine for comfort for 2 out of our 3 cats. In addition, I can't image three adult cats being happy eating that close together (as others have said). Another problem is that the chutes tend to spray the food across the floor, even when using a silicone mat underneath, unless you use food bowl that are either more than 1" deep or have a vertical edge. This doesn't work for 2 out of 3 of our cats who have long, sensitive whiskers and are very picky about their eating dishes. For now, our solution is cardboard chute extensions to two of the chutes, and we raised the machine about 2" off the floor to accommodate the necessary bowls. It works in a pinch, but it's overly complicated and seems impractical long term. One final note, I tried to contact the seller when we couldn't figure out why our splitter was in two pieces (how they went together wasn't obvious, because it was different from the product picture shown on Amazon). We got no response, so 1 star for customer service.

I have three cats, and feeding time can be a hassle considering my boys deem it necessary to eat all their food at once. I got this for while i was gone on vacation, as finding someone to come feed them twice a day for the entire time i was gone was just not happening. This splitter does a phenomenal job of evenly distributing the food between their bowls, and it fits perfectly inside the feeder. I absolutely cannot recommend this enough.

Purchased this for our automatic pet feeder and it has worked great! The fit is perfect into the feeder and the food is evenly distributed into each of the three bowls. Have not had any issues with food jamming. Would recommend this item for multiple pet bowls. Only thing I have to watch for is one of my cats likes to move his bowl around so making sure it is under the feeder chute before the next feeding! :)Item arrived before expected and was well packaged. Overall a great transaction; I would recommend this item for the PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder.
