Creative Tops “Cornish Harbour” Lap Tray with Cushion, Bean Bag Cushioned, 44 x 34cm

Pretty

So nice, my wife made me buy another one! This was for my mother-in-law, useful if your eating in front of a tv, the pad under the tray makes the tray sturdier and less likely to throw your cup of tea on the floor as you fork a roast potatoe. Now "Casa Del Me" has one of our own, i find it useful for days when working from home on the laptop needs the same treatment, its comfortable, nicely weighted, and a good height to type at .... All in all, if you come for the tray, you'll stay for the "under padding" !

These trays are really pretty, the flower design is lovely and the colours are nice and bright. Surface of the top is smooth and shiny so is easy to wipe down.When you pick them up however they are very light weight, not in a nice way. The border around the picture is not real wood and the beans in the cushion feel off. The fabric on the back is a nice rich colour but it’s thin and rough. It just comes across as very cheap.In terms of sturdiness while in use, the beans are quite stiff so the tray doesn’t move around much. Takes a dinner plate and a full glass easily. Sturdiness in terms of how soon it might start falling apart is a different matter, with how cheap they feel I’d be careful about leaning forward on them.

This item is brilliant for me. Specially when l am drawing.

Excellent for raising my laptop screen to the optimum height for me to see clearly what I’m doing so that I don’t always have to sit at a desk, but can have my feet up. Feels comfortable and not too hot, even in warm weather.Additionally, holds my embroidery accoutrements in one place while I’m sewing-my scissors and threads, pins, needles are all kept secure and don’t slide away down the side of the chair. It’s easy to move to another room quickly if my toddler granddaughter arrives, so I can continue my hobby but keep her safe as well.I’m glad I bought this, and I like the picture as well.

Well made and exactly what we needed

I've pondered buying one of these for ages, as I'm disabled so sit a lot and wanted to be able to sketch etc on my knee.The tray arrived securely packaged.It's a pretty design, and a good size.The bean backing is a bit thin, and slippy, not quite the right thickness.The edges of the tray are a bit flimsy - overall it just isn't quite right. It is useful, but maybe not quite as good quality as expected.It certainly will be helpful for many, so please don't be completely put off by my review, there's nothing 'wrong' with the tray!
