ghd Air Hair Dryer - Salon-Finish, 2X Faster Dying, Reduced Frizz - for All Hair Types (UK Plug)

I don’t normally invest this much money into a hairdryer, but so pleased I did with this! It’s very easy to handle, easily creates volume and my hair isn’t frizzy and seems in better condition since using it! Powerful air-flow so dries my hair quickly. Very happy customer!

We bought a generic high speed salon quality hair dryer for Christmas. Unfortunately, it was WAY too strong for us - so much so that the powerful air stream would tangle our fine thin long hair into knots we had to cut out (never before seen issue). I sent it back and settled to buy the original GHD that I always wanted, not a generic imitaiton.I don't like it - i LOVE GHD blowdryer! The speed and heat settings are enough for both my fine and long, as well as my daughter's thicker hair. Leaves the shine and controls frizz - we just need to learn all about how to operate the nozzles we received!I'd say this one's a keeper for years to come!!

I love this GHD hairdryer. It’s not too heavy , dries my hair a lot faster than my old one and cones with really nice accessories. Really please with my purchase.

Brilliant hairdryer, I hate the effort of blow drying my hair,but I used my daughter in law's and found it amazing so I got one for myself. Whenever I've used a hairdryer in the past it's been difficult and so time consuming and has left my hair so dry and frizzy. But not this one

This is the first fancy hairdryer I've ever owned and, my goodness, you really do get what you pay for.The packaging is gorgeous, obviously, and the hairdryer itself is beautiful to look at. Bit weird to say that about a hairdryer but there it is.It dries my hair in, truly, half the time my last one did (a middling Babyliss one), and it leaves my hair shinier and flippier... after using this my hair is flicky, which is super.The reason I wanted to leave this review, though, is there was *one* slight issue with the attachment that comes with it. Its opening is a wide slit (presumably so you can create a narrow, forceful stream of air) and when I used it, it got so hot I couldn't touch it. It got so hot I was worried it was going to melt, so that came off straight away. It's just something to bear in mind if you need it for styling.Assuming you're good to go with the hairdryer as is, though, with no attachments needed, it's absolutely brilliant. The cord is long, too, so if you're going to be drying your hair a way away from the plug socket, it won't hamper you any... I think it's about 6ft, which is great.It's upwards of £80 which is an awful lot of money for a hairdryer, absolutely, but it's more gentle on the hair, dries it fully twice as fast, feels like it will last forever, and is actually a pleasure to use so I think it's worth every penny.

Overall I would recommend. Very good but much heavier than I expected. Did make my arm ache a little but will get used to it. Also placement position of control buttons are not easy to use. Would have been better on the other side of the handle. However I’m using the hairdryer for myself in a domestic situation and not in a salon on someone else where I think the control button position and weight may not be an issue. Despite the negative comments I’m very pleased with how my hair looked and felt after styling. Much better professional look than from my old hairdryer and my hair had a much better feel- not dried out as such or brittle.

Super GHD quality but is heavier and bigger than you think. Has all the attachments that you need and good tamp settings. Great speed settings and isn’t too noisy. Great functional product which will last.

The media could not be loaded. Wow what a difference this hairdryer has made to drying time! So so much quicker than my old hairdryer, so glad I took the plunge and invested! Well worth the money, and the accessories are a bonus too.
