Great tub paint.
Before using this I had tried the rustoleum product. The Rustoleum did not cover well and caused me to smell colors and hear the future. No kidding that crap caused all of us to have to leave the house and it was still unpleasant hours later when we came back, it was still bad for most of the night, and that was with the house ventilation fan going. Plus, it looked terrible.I sanded, cleaned with alcohol, and ordered this. It has almost zero odor. Even less than a standard latex paint. I painted a five foot fiberglass tub and shower. I split the product and mixed up half for the first coat. It goes on very smooth and the semi gloss looks like the factory coating. Covered old rust stains and discoloration well on the first coat. Did a second coat after three hours. This coat made it absolutely a uniform white color with no sign of it being a paint job.Couple tips. Remove all the metal hardware, or tape up. It will not come off easily if you make a mess. Watch for drips because if you leave them sit a few minutes they will be hard to brush or roll out. I didn’t notice a couple in the bottom of the tub and ends up peeling them up before moving on to that part of the paint job. The texture of the bottom makes it hard to notice but after using a small brush to hit drips when they happened the finished coat looks perfect. The picture shows the product as it is drying. The uneven spots smoothed out while drying and look great.Even though it is advertised as water based, don’t expect to reuse brushes or rollers because it is very hard to wash out. I used the provided cheap roller and brush and they worked fine. Threw them away afterwards.

Amazing Paint - Doesn't smell and worked great!
I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but I'm so impressed by this product that I am making time to help others in need of a good tile paint. I'm a professional handyman and was hired to paint two bathrooms - both the wall tile and the floor tile. In the past I have used Rust-Oleum tub and tile paint - but man did that stuff STINK. The fumes were so strong I had a headache for days and it was hardly possible to finish the painting. I was dreading this new project thinking I'd use the same paint, until I found and used this paint on Amazon. What a difference! Not only just in smell (this paint is barely noticeable in smell and less smelly than typical wall acrylic paint), but this paint is so much easier to apply than Rust-Oleum. I believe it did take an additional coat more than Rust-Oleum but it's well worth it not having to breath in harsh fumes, coupled with easy application. I did struggle with knowing how much paint to buy for my project, but 3 cans of the 35oz product was more than enough to paint about 3 coats for each bathrooms' walls and floors (1 small and 1 medium bath). I used the brush that came with the tools which worked better than my other stiffer brush, as you will want to use a soft bristle brush for this paint. It took about 3 coats and in some spots, 4 coats to get the tile just right (I was painting over dark brown tile, so if you have a lighter colored tile, you should be able to get away with 2-3 coats). I used an orbital sander and the sandpaper that came with the tool pack option. I didn't go crazy on the prep work - just make sure you get a decent scuff with sanding and a good vacuum/wipe down and you'll be good to paint. I will definitely be using this paint again if I need to paint more tile.

Big improvement, be patient
First, I painted a 6 foot brownish shower stall. I ordered 2 kits as I expected more than 1 coat. Well, had to open 2nd kit because was not enough for 2nd coat. 3 coats in and it looks ok. First I would recommend not using anything in the kit other than the paint. The gloves, roller and other is practically useless. I used foam roller from big box store as the original fell apart halfway thru first coat. Glad I had extras on hand. 3rd coat looks good, but have enough for a 4th so I'm going to do that. Appearance looks good and will be improvement over the 40 year old stall. Paint dries fairly quickly. No instructions on time to recoat, so I waite 8 to 10 hours. Overall I am satisfied, will report back in 6 months to see how it holds up

Piece of cake! Highly Recommend
I was a bit skeptical at first. Especially since we didn't realize the knuckleheads who sold us the house the house had painted it in the first place. About 1.5 years in and it started to chip and crack. Surprise!! So why pay the most conservative estimate of $700 to have it 'reglazed' when I'm a smart guy, let's try this myself. I purchased the 35oz kit. The sandpaper that came with it was OK. First I scraped as much as I could off (see the pic), and then I used my orbital sander and got it smooth as a baby bottom. Wiped it down with some regular water, let it dry then got to work.It took two coats to get it smooth and looks like new, but the 35oz kit did the job with some left over. Used the brush for the corners, and then the included roller to reglaze the entire shower. I've been letting it dry/harden for the past 5 days - so from a long-lasting and durability perspective is TBD. However, I can tell you that it looks 100% better than when we first moved in, so I have high hopes that it will be fine.Very easy to use. Minimal smell, and great results! Titan approved! $700 my a**!
