Excellent product
This product whilst quite expensive and a bit messy to use does an excellent job. Used it to repair a couple of cracks in a pool skimmer and so far repair is holding well.Supplier dealt with a delivery query within minutes and resolved the problem. All good.

Works on most plastics but not polyethelene, just follow the instructions.
Very quick to use but the smell of the liquid is quite overpowering. Once mixed and starting to thicken you don't have long to apply it. It sets rock hard so don't mix too much at any one time. The solution also gets quite warm when being mixed. If possible roughen up the surface and surrounding area of the piece to be repaired so as to provide a good key for the solution. Apply it to the joint, push together and hold till it sets. Also apply it to the sides for added strength.

Good stuff
Good stuff. I used it to repair a hole in my washing machine a few months ago. Still hasn’t leaked yet. Impressive.

Plastics and multi purpose repair kit
It works. But it pongs and you definitely need good ventilation, gloves and protection from splashing on surfaces! It's a liquid that you add a very fine 'filling' powder to and mix up. I think the filler triggers the setting. How much filler is up to you depending on whether you're pouring or filling. You get several minutes before it begins to go off so there's no panic! However the more filler you use the thicker its consistency (obviously!)and the quicker it sets. You need disposable mixing sticks (like kebab or lolly sticks). I used it for filling and strengthening plastic mouldings. If you use it as a glue it sticks solidly and can be sanded when set. Ideal for model making repairs and workshop projects. Very versatile.

Plast aid plastics repair kit
Seemed to be quite a good product but did not work very well when used to repair pipe leakes under pressure as in whirlpool bath.

Bra wire through washing machine
Bought this to fix a plastic washing machine drum. Some underwire from a bra had come loose and been "fired" through the machine's plastic drum, dumping loads of water on our floor in the process.Very annoyed as it was a new machine, just out of warranty but not much likelihood of a repair anyway due to the nature of the issue.Found this product and gave it a go. Absolutely stinks, so make sure you have good ventilation and follow the instructions. Took only 5 minutes for the mixture to be malleable enough to apply.Left it overnight to cure. On testing, found a small drip from a corner of the repair, so packed with a little more. Machine is still going strong after several months, no leaks.Feels expensive for what it is, but no denying it's cheaper than a new washing machine. My pics show the before and after. Small hole visible in the first and you can just make out the packed in plast aid in the second.

Caravan sink repair and fast delivery
I needed something to repair the sink in my touring caravan. After several failed attempts I came across Plast Aid. After watching the video I thought I'd give it a try. Much to my delight it seems to have done the job.The best thing though was the speed of delivery. I placed my order on Thursday 8th May and received it on Saturday. On Monday 12th May, I got an email from Amazon telling me that my order was dispatched and would be delivered between the 13 and 27 May. How's that for fast service?

This stuff is incredible
This repair kit can be mixed as required to form a liquid or a putty depending on the application. It sets rock hard and is very durable. Use it in a well ventilated area according to the instructions.
