My Parrot now has beautiful parasite free feathers
overall: this product has done exactly what it says it does, my bird is parasite free with beautiful feathers.Longer Version: I'm adding more info because when I bought this product my parrot was looking so scruffy, with lots of pin feathers around his head and shoulders and he was even developing an area at the back of his head which was becoming bold. I could not find answers, no reasons seemed to fit!I bought this product and over the course of two months treated him with this stuff. A very slight improvement with the feather situation but there was obviously another contributing factor as to the feathers.ANSWER: amazingly, after lots of trial and error it turned out the whole reason for him looking the way he did was the fact the dirty boy was NOT WASHING!!! hehe. such a simple thing but so very important. Just by chance i took him in the shower with me and i was playing and splashing him and he was really enjoying himself. He ended up soaking wet but was happy. He then sat in the window for a few hours being warmed by the sun and to the whole familys surprise over the next couple of days he turned from an ugly scruffy duckling to the most beautiful little boy ever!!!! we couldnt believe it. So now we take him to have showers with us as for some unknown reason he will not use his birdy bath of his own accord.I just wanted to share this because we could not find answers as to why our healthy birb who has the best diet, had been treated for parasites, did not pluck his feathers, is always out his cage interacting with us but yet had these horrible feathers! It turns out washing is essential for birds, the pin feathers need to be softened by cleaning. I will try to add pics as the transformation is shocking.I hope this helps even just one loving parrot owner. This is our first parrot and just not noticing that your birb isnt using their bath is such a small thing you but atcually has huge consequences. The product works perfectly well yet someone might think it didnt have the same effects for their bird as someone elses and this may be the reason. Birds feathers are very complicated and its a learning curve all the time. Thanks xxx

Did the job for an adult Dumbo
Underestimated the weight of our adult dumbo rat and by the guidelines we should have used more than is supplied in this pack to treat him but it worked effectively with no ill effects.

It's easy if your budgie likes you!
I have a budgie who doesn't like people - he doesn't really like anything but his food and being as noisy as he can, but I noticed his cere was beginning to look a little "off". A chat with some budgie experts suggested he is most likely a she (no wonder she doesn't like me when I've been calling it a He) and was 'in season'. He also suggested there was a chance of mites (my budgie lives alone, indoors, so the likelyhood of mites was extremely small but I figured I'd treat him anyway - prevention is always better than cure). You need to apply this to the back of the birds neck (in the same way you apply to a dog, or cat). This is great if you have a friendly bird, who's happy to sit on your finger; not so great when you have one who doesn't like you.It took an hour of watching, and following him (her) around the, before making our move when he landed on the window sill. He didn't know what was coming as he was distracted by the pigeon outside the window; my Mum (bless her) managed to take hold of him, while I applied the liquid to the back of his neck. He sqauwked, there was blood, lots of blood (my Mum's not the birds - apparently his beak is sharp) but we got it on him in the end, and he paid us back by sitting on top of his cage screeching for an hour - just to let us know who is really in charge.I'm not sure if it worked (due to the fact he could have been in season) but within a few days his cere was back-to-normal, and he was back to flying over us, dumping his load onto the top of our heads (his favourite pasttime).I only gave him one dose, which thankfully seems to have been enough. Good luck to those of you out there who also have a feathered (un) friend who doesn't like you too. :)

Works like it should.
I noticed my bird was plucking, so I bought this, I normally buy the bigger ones for my greys. It works for worming your bird, aswel as kills mites.

Not seen any fleas since, good product :)
I got this for my hammy as she was scratching lots and I saw some fleas in her fur. I put this on her, and the others weren't lying when they said your hamster will look like a drowned rat after putting it on haha. I only put one pipette on her (It recommended using both), but to be honest one was enough to cover my ham haha, I felt anxious at the thought of putting another lot on her after using one, so I didn't.I made sure I put lots of soft bedding in the cage, and put a blanket on the side, if she wanted more warmth, as it dried. She came out her little house a few hours later and it was completely dry and she looked normal again, so I was relieved ha.She scratches sometimes here and there but I think that's part of her washing herself now. I've not seen ANY fleas on her since I put the spot-on on her, so I think it worked? I don't know for sure if it was this that got rid of them, or if it was coincidence. but I know i've not seen them on her since, so I'll assume it was because of this product :)

Fantastic
I could not rave more about this product, amazingly cheap considering the effect. I have a mouse who had sores all over his back and half of his ears had come off due to mites, the sores were open and pussing and despite trying lots of other expensive products nothing worked. I was unsure weather to order as it is so incredibly cheap but thought hey why not give it ago, it arrived in a couple of days and worked like magic, his sores have closed and are healing, hes happy and healthy and running around and he's stopped scratching ! must buy !!

Great experience from order to delivery. Highly recommended!
Twist off the cap and apply entire contents of pipette to the base of the feathers, on the bird’s neck. Birds' feathers are adapted to shed rain and this same principle will cause the bird spot-on to run-off if applied superficially. It is important that the solution be applied onto the skin or soft down feathers, otherwise it will not work. While squeezing out the contents, spread the solution over as great a surface of the skin as possible. A small bird will be quite damp after application, so keep your bird warm until dry. A second treatment should not be required, but if it is, leave 4 weeks before re-applying. Warnings: Keep out of reach of children. For animal treatment only. Use only on birds weighing 20-50g. This would typically include the stockier breeds of canary, budgerigars, or smaller lovebirds. It is an excellent product for clearing airsac mites in Gouldian Finches over 20g. Please be aware that some of the lighter finches will probably weigh less than 20g, and this product should not be used. For cage and aviary bird weighing more than 50g, use Anti-Parasite Medium. For birds weighing more than 300g use Anti-Parasite Large. Do not use on other species of animal. Do not use on sick or convalescing birds. Serious reactions, including deaths, have been reported in dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheep Dogs & related breeds), tortoises & turtles treated with products containing the active substance. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water following treatment. If signs of disease persist or appear following treatment, consult a veterinary surgeon. When treating for external parasites, consider treating the cage/aviary with a suitable product.
