Sulfate Free Shampoo with Chebe Powder and Shea Butter (16.9 OZ) Hair Shampoo for Hair Growth and Anti-dandruff Shampoo

When I opened the box some of the shampoo had spilled out, box was all nasty. I guess it spilled in transit or was just old!I love this shampoo but ran out and ordered more. I was disappointed at the looks when I opened it.

I bought this hoping to rid my dandruff. No luck. Smells great and hydrates well.

The shampoo came with instructions to shake the bottle. As others have mentioned, that was a near impossibility. The shampoo is so thick that no amount of shaking is going to mix the powder at the bottom with the paste like liquid on top. A steel spoon did not work despite reaching the bottom since the liquid does not move freely. I resorted to pushing a straw all the way down and then emptying it into a container. That way at least a bit of the power came through. Once we were through that hurdle, the shampoo actually smelled quite nice. Floral but pleasant. Very lathering and just a bit was needed for working up quite a bit of lather. My hair felt very clean. The first time I used it without a conditioner. After drying my hair looked and felt soft and just like if I had used a conditioner. Next day I used it again by itself. This time I could see my hair looked quite healthy but not weighted down. I also gave this to my teen to test out on her very thick long straight hair. She reported excellent results. What I loved about this shampoo was that though it is moisturizing, my hair did not look or feel oily by the end of the day. For that reason I am giving it a full 5 stars despite the mixing struggles. I plan to put in a pump to get the powder at the bottom.

I opened the top and it smells nice. Then it goes downhill from there. The label says "shake well before use". You can clearly see the upper portion is thick dark yellow color (guessing it is shea butter) and bottom once inch or so has black specks (chebe powder?). When you try to shake it, it is just way too thick and it doesn't mix. Try using long screwdriver but don't think it mixed well. I tried getting some out but suspect I'm just washing my hair with mostly shea butter and doubt that I can ever get the correct ratio of shea butter and chebe powder. I thought about pouring it out into a big bowl and then mixing but think it is too much trouble. Do I keep the shampoo in the bowl for use? or do I put it back in the bottle each time. For those of you who like convenience, this isn't it so 1 star.I kind of wonder if this could've come in two bottles. You get mostly shea butter in one and mostly chebe powder in the other. Then get some from each bottle when you need to use (kind of like two part epoxy :-)

I have heard about chebe being great for hair growth and wanted to see how well it could work for my hair. This shampoo MUST be shaken up before using it, which was pretty dissimilar to do, since the chebe powder settles at the bottom of the bottle. I had to shake the bottle a lot and pretty aggressively, to get it to mix together, even then, there was still some of the powder at the bottom. You are able to feel the powder in the shampoo, which felt odd imo, but did not cause any issues while using it. The shampoo left my hair feeling hydrated and clean. It lathered nicely, and rinsed out of my hair very easily. I have tight, curly hair that loves moisture, and this shampoo worked very well for me.

This almost feels like gelatin when it comes out. I wondered if it would lather okay at first, but it's easy to lather and spread through your hair. The smell isn't overpowering - after using it I don't feel like I'm stuck smelling it a long time, so even if you're not a huge fan of the scent it probably won't be that bad. I didn't mind the scent.My hair and scalp feel fine. I'll have to use it longer to see just how good the results are, but for right now, it seems to be a pretty nice shampoo. I have particularly dry skin, so I would have to give it more weeks before deciding how big of a difference it makes in the end, but thus far it seems to be working well.

This shampoo made my hair hard and tangled during wash and it felt very gritty. Not a pleasant feeling of grit while washing hair! I wouldn’t buy this again!
