Simply The Best Home-Use Spiralizer Available Today, Bar None
I've used various different spiralizers, and also own a Müeller Spiral-Pro Professional. All of them are made of plastic, and all pale in comparison to this simple, effective and robust stainless steel device! Why on earth would anyone purchase a flimsy plastic cutter when this is available? My Mueller is certainly now redundant, and heading for a charity shop. There are so many ways in which this device excels. Construction obviously - stainless steel is a lot more rigid than plastic and will never split, crack or stain. Capacity is another - unlike its plastic brethren, this has the room and solidity required to mount a whole cabbage, and that's brilliant for sauerkraut makers like me. It still works brilliantly with smaller veg too of course. Function needs to be applauded as well, with its' large travel and ability to eject the cut veg directly over a bowl, and without projecting machine parts to get in the way and throw your veg off in silly directions. Lastly, being less complex than a lot of the plastic jobs, it's far easier to set up, use and then clean afterwards. The four suction cup feet do a good job of keeping it firmly planted while you work, and the resulting cut is precise and neat. In case you're wondering about the knob marked "on off", it's a catch to stop the spindle sliding out not in use.In summary, I cannot think of a singe reason to even consider a plastic spiralizer when this is available. It's like choosing between a Tonka Toy and a real truck. If you want the job done properly rather than just playing, it's a bit of a no-brainer. I'm delighted with my purchase and can recommend this device to you.________________________________Extra TipsSince writing my review I notice that a couple of folks have rated this a one star item that they "hate" due to the handle bending. I've had no such issue myself, and the handle is a solid piece of stainless. Yes, you could bend it if you push excessively hard, but the point is, you don't need to. Used correctly, the blades draw your veg in towards them as you wind the handle. The lightest of pressure is all that's required. If you push more than the four suction cup feet can resist, you're pushing too hard. My advice is practice your technique if you're having problems. Smooth and gentle is the goal. This is still very much a five star machine in my eyes :-)

Quality pays off
The media could not be loaded. Just received it and gave it a go for courgette and carrots. came with 5 extra blades. quite sturdy, and seems like it'll be a long time use. For anyone wondering how it works in action, just leaving a small clip of my first fifteen minutes of use.If anything goes wrong, I'll be back to amend my review

Watch You Tube to find out how to fix blades
Took delivery of this today. BUT the manual of 1.5 sides of tiny pages spent over half telling you how to use the slicer safely!! No idea why the blades are numbered as no instructions or pictures of their different uses. No blade in the machine so I had to go onto You Tube to find out how to put them in and then trial and error with the various blades to find out what they did. It does work well but it claims to be one handed, not with carrots it isn't. A pity more thought didn't go into an idiot's guide on how to use.

Not cheap but VERY solid and easy to use with three different styles of cutting.
The media could not be loaded. We had a spiraliser, A plastic thing which required both hands to use and was hard work, it was also difficult to clean out after use bcause you could not get at the cutters properly. This tool on the other hand is made of stainless steel with with no nooks and crannies for bits to get stuck. It also sticks to and shiny surface with its 4 plastic suckers and once loaded is very easy to use with one hand. (you can use your other hand to scroll through a recipe on your tablet if you like....)You get three different slicing blades for spiralising, Julien style cutting and slicing. Many kitchen gadgets do leave me asking the question why when the job is easy to do with a knife, peeler or wooden spoon but not this one is really earns its place in your kitchen. Our first use was to make some 'Courgetti' as a healthy alternative to noodles for our Saturday lunch in the garden. I am looking forward to using this again and again and again....
