Gibson Elite Matisse Double Bowl Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 (16pcs), Green

I purchased two sets of these dishes in Taupe, and am very, very happy with them. Both sets arrived without any broken pieces. Because of the reactive glaze, there are slight differences in some of the finishes, and I expected that - I like that aspect of it.The flatter bowls are great for salads and pasta, and the smaller bowls are awesome for soup, cereal, cottage cheese and just about anything else you might want to put in them. The dinner plates are very large and sturdy, and the salad plates the perfect size and very festive looking with the white tic marks.One of the salad plates was slightly smaller than the others, and missing all of the white tic marks - it looked like a mini dinner plate. I emailed Gibson thru their web site explaining the anomaly, asking if there was a way to purchase a single salad plate for the set. I hadn't heard back yet via email, but FedEx delivered one to my door today (-: Great customer service and a nice surprise.

It's been over 15 years since I've purchased plates and dishes. I'm in love! The colors are so vibrant (I ordered the blue) and they are worth every penny, plus more. They have a decent weight to them, and don't feel cheap. I'm in love with the new dishes. They are holding up great in the dishwasher and our use. The salad bowl type plates are so handy! I've never had dishes in that shape, but those have quickly become my favorite for small breakfasts, desserts with ice cream on the side or for use with kids. The extra little lip on the side to prevent spillage is great.

Packed well so no chipped or broken pieces. Love these dishes. Particularly like the larger bowl for one dish meals. Go very well with my decor. Nice weight. Does well in dishwasher. Excited to have new dinnerware to go with updated decor.

Really impressed with the quality of this dinnerware set. Pretty heavy duty compared to others in this price range.The green is kind of muted but I really like the style of these.Packaged very well, everything arrived in one piece. Definitely my favorite set I've purchased to date. I went with this one because I don't need more mugs, I wanted more plate/bowl options instead.I would not hesitate to purchase this again!

The cobalt blue is more of a navy blue than a true cobalt, but it’s a lovely color. The inside of the dishes has a lighter blue “lining” that doesn’t detract from the color of whatever food you’re serving. I love the salad plates which have the light tan dashes over the entire dish. These are solid and very heavy stoneware that look great on the table and are sized well for American portions. Highest recommendation 💯💯

This set has the exact shapes I want in plates and bowls. I love "dinner bowls" and eat most of meals out of them. I also like taller bowls like these that are small in diameter. The colors are great.The downside is almost every plate and bowl has defects. They all have imperfections in the outer clear coat layer. It's like they all took a scratch or two before they were fired. Every plate has a chip or scratch from when the clear coat and/or paint outer layer was still wet.It's just low quality. But I got a bunch of them and will use them for the foreseeable future.

Absolutely love the quality of these plates, and colors are so more vibrant in person than in picture. So glad I bought this set!!

We were looking to upgrade our old IKEA dishes so began our search online despite being a bit leery of not being able to see them in person. After being drawn to this particular pattern, I took in all the reviews, good and bad. I have to say I am so pleased with this choice! I gave "lightweight" a mid-ranking because there is some weight to these stoneware sets, which I wanted. Is every dish perfectly matching the other? No, but that's the style I chose and they still look great when setting a table - a nice artistic touch. Wanting place settings for 12, we ordered 4 sets at the same time and not one issue with the packaging when delivered. I especially love the dinner bowls as they are perfect for pasta or rices, and the plates have a perfect slope to them so if you have anything with sauces, its not running off. The taupe is warm, looks close to the pictures, and matches well with my greige kitchen. They have done well in the dishwasher also. I've had a lot of compliments!

These are a good sized Mug and they weigh accordingly. I find the weight and size very much to my liking, if you're looking for something delicate and light this is probably not the right style of mug for you. They look fantastic and they retain heat very well. Excellent value For a coffee mug of this style
