Good quality food that my cat loves
Good quality food that my cat loves. She has a delicate stomach and these are one of the few foods that don't upset her. Worth the money to have a happy cat!

Expensive but Good
Very expensive so I only give it as a treat from time to time. I was concerned that it didn't say what the flavour was. My cats being spoilt are often fussy about some flavours, but I thought I'd give it a try. They absolutely devoured it with gusto !! I will buy it again but only in small amounts because of the price.

Unconvinced of the benefits of this food. There are much better products out there that dont need to be endorsed by Vets!
Despite vets up and down the country peddling this "scientifically formulated" product I must say on appearance and smell it seems only marginally different from whiskas and felix but considerably more expensive. The biggest difference being that the meaty chunks are much smaller but overall it still look like condensed processed meat crap. Now I know cats arent as discerning as human but I cant help but feel like Royal Canin are packaging up something that could easily end up in a commercial food but in slightly bigger chunks.I have 3 cats and they will eat this food but they all tend to lick the jelly rather than chow down on the meat which for me seems like a waste of money when I at least see them eat more with some of the commercial brands.Another pet hate of mine (excuse pun) is manfacturers putting sugar in cat food. Cats do not instinctively eat sugar in the wild and there is simply no need for them to have it in their food! Felix are guilty of doing this and I was especially disappointed to see that Royal Canin (a brand that vets are in cahoots with) are even doing it as well! Besides making the mangled up low quality meat slightly more palatable to a cat the sugar offers little to no benefit and increases the likelyhood of tooth decay as they age. Cats will eat sweet things and I am not saying they should never have any sugar ever but a so called balanced and complete diet does not need to contain it in every meal.If you really care about your moggies I would suggest trying some of the other brands that actually put in real whole meat and dont list 'various sugars' in their ingredients. You can certainly get much better quality stuff for less than Royal Canin is going for.
