Very useful
This is much more useful than the simple chain wear indicators if you’re faced with a variety of multi-gear chains. It is quite expensive but generally you get what you pay for particularly with tools. It’s built to last.

Excellent tool nice & easy to use a must for all push bikes at least e-bike owners should have one to keep an eye on their chain. Replacing a chain cheaper than the cassette & cog at the front

Simple but effective
Love it, simple tool that tells you if your chain has worn. Not cheap but feels quality and that it will last.

Better quality than the photos suggest
This is a nice tool. There is a knack to using it correctly so a degree of mechanical sympathy is required but most careful people should have no problem getting an acceptable indication of chain wear.The cam design of measuring minute distances is clever and the materials are all good quality.It comes in a flimsy plastic tray which I think is a shame. The pins are a bit too fragile to keep this loose in a toolbox so it would have been nice to get a decent cardboard or plastic box to store it in.

Great little tool
Great little tool. Easy to use.All of my own chains read as effectively 'brand new'.Customer chain I thought bad was off the scale.Good to confirm!

Extremely useful tool
Bought this to check if my chain was approaching it's wear limit and Park Tool is a very trusted brand. First off I used it and it said my chain was fine at .5 but then had a thought that maybe I better clear some crud off first and then re-checked and my chain is at .75 so time to change.
