Excellent Barrier Cream
Cavilon is a very effective barrier cream, it comes in 3 guises, cream, spray and sticks (see photo).The District Nurses used it on my elderly mother who had developed a bed sore after being laid up in bed for a few weeks. It cleared her sore and now she uses it daily as a preventative measure.Also my friend underwent radiotherapy last year and she said using Cavilon during and after treatment helped to protect and moisturise her skin.It is quite expensive, hence the buying in bulk (pack of 3 tubes) but a little goes a long way.Also when no more cream can be squeezed out of the tube, cut the tube in half and you will find there is lots left, to then keep it fresh slot the top half over the bottom half (see photos).Highly recommended.
