Bought this thinking that it would just be a toy the cat would watch, it is so loud it scared the poor cat! I don't even want it, if I had any idea that the MOTOR would sound like a plastic gear being slapped by a metal spring, along with the mechanism that 'throws' the ball is as loud as an escalator. It's a piece of crap that has collected dust because I can't, in good conscience, give this cacophonous contraption to ANYONE. Waste of money, hope You read this before giving money away for a 'toy' that WILL give the neighbors a migraine. Do NOT BUY!

I would leave it a 1-2 start review but I gave it 3 stars because it was so cheap. The issue is it’s very loud like u will hear it in the other room easily and it’s sounds really annoying. The other issue is the balls really don’t stay in well at all. I would say you are lucky if you make it 1 min with out the ball falling out.

Noisy, throws balls over and behind catch bucket. You may call it a perpetual motion machine, but any child can see not so. In spite of its faults, it is fun to play with! A lesson in what is and is not perpetual motion. Learning value high.

I saw this as a gif online that had no sound. I was really intrigued by how it worked and thought it would be a fun novelty toy. This thing has an annoyingly loud buzzing noise. It's pretty dumb.

This product makes a loud buzzing noise that's so annoying you have to turn it off. Does what it says it's supposed to do but after awhile the combination of the metal balls hitting the platform and loud noise is so distracting you just want to throw it up against the wall.
