Quality product, works well
Great product. Seems expensive but it's good quality and fits well (having used the size guide on the Chimney Sheep website). Much as I like the ventilation/air changing provided by leaving the chimney open, at this time of year it causes a constant, strong draught just sucks the heat out of the house via the living room fireplace. I had the sheep fitted within 10 minutes of it arriving and its effect on stopping the draught/breeze that usually whistles through the door or under and around its sides was almost instant. So we're a bit warmer and more comfortable, just like that; definitely worth the outlay.

Worth every penny. Absolute game changer
This product is an absolute game changer! While it might seem a bit pricey compared to other solutions, but the quality, reliability and the significant difference it makes more than justify the cost.I hadn’t realised how much heat was escaping up my chimney before purchasing this draught excluder. Since installing it, my home feels noticeably warmer, and I’m sure it’s helping me save on heating costs.I’ve been working to make my home more energy-efficient, and this has had a bigger impact than any other one thing I’ve tried. It’s very easy to install and just as simple to remove if you use your fire.If you’re on the fence about buying this, I’d highly recommend it—it’s genuinely one of the best investments I’ve made for my home.

Very happy with a chimney sheep
I am pleased with the fit and it works better than a balloon as I have an electric Dimplex myst log burner which does generate a little heat, not much but enough to deflate the plastic balloons. Using the chimney sheep stops anything falling down but it does not stop wind noise from the chimney cap - I can hear it just as much but certainly no chimney bits fall down so it must be doing its job up there. I had to push up a long way in my chimney but thats fine, I no longer get a down draft but it is allowing air to circulate in my room another problem with the plastic balloons which caused me to have condensation on the windows - no more with a chimney sheep - I like the fact it is a natural product - shame they have to use plastic for handle - just hope its recycled plastics.

Made a massive difference to the feel of warmth in the house.
You can tell these are really well made. I have this up the chimney for my gas fire and it fits though the little slit fine, though a little fiddly. It stops the draught really well though and some noise too. Good value for money in comfort alone seeing as this makes the same house temperature feel better due to the lack of a draught. Easy to install if measured correctly, go a bit bigger rather than smaller as you can trim them a little if required.

Installs easily
I bought a chimney sheep because on windy days the chimney turns into a wind tunnel and it's very noisy. The sheep went up very easily and is held in place without issues but it's done nothing to combat the sounds (as the latest storm has proven)
