These are great pans for baking cakes.

I purchased Aunt Shannon's Easy release Cake pans for my holiday baking and occasional just because I want some cake times.. When I first opened them I was a little disappointed.. They are thin.. I washed and used them and they performed as expected.. Would have preferred them to be a little deeper and bigger round but worked well and glad I made that purchase.. It's always good when your cake comes out of the pan in one piece.. Makes decorating and putting the icing on a lot easier when I'm not using the icing to mend/hold it together.. Hopefully they will hold up well over time..

the only thing is I thought it was a set of 4 pans there are 3.

The media could not be loaded. I would give zero stars but it's not an option. I was so excited to order these cuz I remember having pans like this growing up and wanted them for my granddaughter because she loves to bake. These are awful! These are anything but "easy release" and the "blade on the bottom of each pan makes a full 360° sweep under the cake to ensure removal is flawless and truly non-stick" is definitely false advertising. It made the cake edges rugged and leaves a crack in the bottom. (see pics/video)I bought them in Nov as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She was excited to finally use them today only to be so disappointed.I can't return them cuz I guess it's past their window so we're stuck with pans we can't use.

I’m happy to find 8 inch pans, everything I had was 9 inch. The easy release lever is a charm.

The pans were very light weight. The part of the pan that turns to release the cake was very flimsy, in fact on one of the pans it was not on correctly, it was sticking up so I had to bend it in order for it to work. I did use the pans to make a three layer cake. The cake turned out ok. I will use the pans if I make a three layer cake again. But I will use my old release cake pans if I only need two layers.

Works great
