Pull your wick all the way up to the top holeon the side wear the flame comes out at. Also, open the Zippo, turn it over, use the edge of the lid to open bottom and try to screw your Flint up a little while you have it pulled up using the lid off the Zippo. Also do not over fill. Once you add fluid (Zippo brand is what we use it) use about lighter to light a game and leaving it setting on the counter and Burn for like 45-60 secs or longer. Then let it cool and repeat
