Too much background noise
Install this on the back of my car. Stereo that I purchased from Amazon, which was a apple car, play Android Auto. Sort of stereo that only had a microphone on the front face of the stereo I added this microphone to the auxiliary port on the rear of the stereo. Not only does the microphone have too much background noise, but I had to buy. An extender, so it would reach the stereo. As it only comes with a 3 foot cord. If you're buying this as a phone microphone for your car. Stereo I would not recommend it. There is way too much background noise

A lot of people say they have a hard time hearing me when I’m using this microphone

Needed for head unit upgrade
When I upgraded the head unit in my '16 L405 Range Rover, I didn't know I would need a mic but lo and behold, there wasn't one in the kit and it is needed for phone calls. This mic fit the need and was crystal clear, even when the windows were down.
