So far - excellent! Original and at the same price as generic...

I can’t give 5 stars because I don’t know yet how this battery performs long term. I have bought two 3rd party batteries for my Dell Latitude and each one has become next to useless within a year. This time I paid more and bought one branded “Dell” and so far, a week after installing it, it works great. However, I’m cautious because the Amazon description does not use words like “genuine “, or “original equipment “ so I wonder if this is a knock off. Hope not, but I’ll be updating this review in 2025 to report whether or not the battery has legs.

Guessed right on the battery (IT background). There’s some info in the photos to check your battery life before your screen goes blank like mine did. Which is scary if youre working contract , right? This battery is specific to this portable computer in the photos. All the photos were “snapped” after the NEW battery was installed and no other parts or components or programming was altered. CLEAN JOB phew. Cost $40 I think which is good I think. I’ve also had an issue with this portable computer power input at the left insertion base but I had that professionally installed because my soldering skills are terrible $150? I think for that but I bought the part for the technician.

This got my old computer back together, so I could give that computer away.
