The adapter works as expected and looks good. Some cables click in and retain just fine (including Anker cables and original Steam Deck charger), though I do have a cheap cable that comes loose (could be manufacturing tolerances on both this adapter and the cable). From other reviews it sounds like JSAUX could improve this, however I think this would put too much stress on the port if it was too tight (which likely would be the case with my snug cables), otherwise you would have to pull off the adapter to safely remove a cable. The male side of the adapter fits just fine in the Steam Deck port.The case I have on my Steam Deck is a JSAUX Kickstand Case PC0105, and as you can see from the pictures it fits great.Display port over USB works just fine.Only thing I would be concerned about is pulling the cable away from the device it is plugged into, it will not pull out but instead could break the port. That being said, just be mindful, this is just the nature of 180 degree adapter design, so no points against JSAUX. I primarily bought this for strain relief when charging my Deck while using it.

Using this for my steam deck, however the connector on this is not as grippy as the deck connection itself and so it can fall out easily. Fixable with some tape lol.

Purchased this for my RoG Ally, since the USBC port is at the top, and I was worried about stress wearing it down over time. These work PERFECTLY. The fit around the body of the Ally without putting stress on the port, and fit securely. Probably the best thing I've purchased for the Ally, in terms of helping the device last longer. A must buy if you own one.

Just a heads up if your intention is to leave this plugged in all the time I doubt it will work for you. This does not fit well in the official case while plugged it and puts pressure on the port due to the way it sticks out on the back. I will update review when I get my tpu case for my deck which I assume this was designed to work with. If you do not use a case and use the stock case I would not suggest.

Works fine with Steam Deck and Steam Deck OLED

I mainly use the USB C to USB C adapter to change the angle of the charging cable on my Steam Deck and it works great for that. I haven't used the USB A much, but it would work with a thumbdrive or various other devices so it's nice to have on hand.

After going through a handful of wierd right angle usb-c cables that all ended up either in the way or putting unnecessary tension on my steam deck charging port, I found this little thing. This is perfect for playing while charging. It fits the deck perfectly and the keeps your charging cable out of the way of your hands while playing. It seems to have a nice tight fit. As far as quality it's too early to say, but it seems well built like it will last. Jsaux seems to be the leader in aftermarket accessories for the steam deck and they seem to be pretty well reviewed.
