Atuvos air tag IOS
Lots of ppl saying they aren’t waterproof. They are designed to IP67. What does IP67 waterproof mean? IP67 rated products are waterproof; however, they do have a limit. The product does not allow water to get inside under normal water pressure from a hose. If it is immersed in water, it can bear up to 15cm. Easy to tuck them out of the way and safe from immersion in water. Using these on my bikes and the connection was easy in IOS “Find My” and straightforward. Nice to know they’re safe at home or when out can change the notification location when parked up. A good bit of reassurance for very little money. Best of all no subscriptions, apple ready and CR2032 battery compatible. Guess you should buy reliable Duracell or similar when replacing as past experiences with cheap batteries in car fobs has taught me a lesson! Lasted a month or so while Duracell is over a year.

Great alternative tracking tags
Really impressed with these alternatives to AirTags. They do the same job at a much lower price. I have tested them on my suitcases during a recent trip abroad and it was reassuring to track them across the airport and into our plane! Really easy to set up and you can name each one so that you know which item the tag relates to. I will definitely be investing in some more.

Good
Easy to add to find my device on a apple iphone, and the battery life is phenomenal and there cheaper than the official ones. i cannot compare them to official apple ones as i have never used those.I've got one attached to my dogs harness which is on permantely and the battery has hardly moved and its been at least a year maybe more. We recently used these in our suitcases on holiday and they worked very well, they like all of these types of devices are dependant on other bluetooth devices being around them to report where they are.

I managed to track down a bargain
I have often considered buying some Apple Air Tags, but have been put off by the cost. This set me off on a journey to find better-value alternatives. I first looked at cheap Chinese options, which seemed appealing. However, I was worried about quality and reliability and a lack of post purchase support. This led me to look at the bestsellers on Amazon and there I found the Atuvos trackers. They have good reviews from satisfied customers, both on Amazon and on other websites. I particularly liked that ATuvos have a licence from Apple to use the FindMy app and its technology - ie it works just like an Apple Airtag and uses the same app from the Apple app store. I also discovered claims that these tags will also work on Android phones, which I have not tested. My delivery of four Atuvos tags arrived two days ago. The instructions led me to a very quick setup of all four tags on my iPhone. When you do this be careful not to attempt to connect the FindMy app to an AirTag. Instead, choose the option "Add other item" and from that point it is quick and simple. The tags have a range of up to 200m and once it piggybacks on other users' iPhones the range is global. The internal speaker is loud across a room. The CR2032 battery that is used, it is claimed, will work for a year. It is also water-resistant.The most attractive feature is that, unlike the Apple tags, the Atuos tags have an off switch which can be used to extend the life of the battery. The only, small, disadvantage is that the licence that Atuvos have negotiated with Apple is that it does not allow you to use a compass in the house to point you in the direction of lost keys etc. I have tested my Atuvos tags by asking people taking them away from our home and me being to track their location from our home.Would I recommend this product if you want to tag your luggage when travelling or tag your cat? I would do so without hesitation.

Lost in Transit: A Tracker That Can’t Keep Up
I bought these AirTag-like trackers hoping to keep tabs on my valuables, but I might as well have thrown my money into the wind. The accuracy of these trackers is laughable; they're so off the mark that I'd receive updates placing my items blocks away from their actual location. The delay in the tracking update is another critical flaw. By the time the tracker updates its location, my item could have been halfway across the globe. On one occasion, the tracker showed my item stationary for days, and suddenly, it updated to a location that suggested it should apply for frequent flyer miles. The promise of peace of mind turned into a comedy of errors. If you're looking for a reliable tracker, steer clear of this product. It's a faux tracker that fails to deliver on its sole purpose – to accurately and promptly track your belongings. In conclusion, save your money and the unnecessary stress. These trackers are so inaccurate and delayed that you'd be better off with a paper map and a compass. Definitely not recommended.
