Excellent purchase
Really pleased with this kitchen clock, keeps good time, clear easy to read numbers. The digital time, date, & temperature are a nice feature too.

An excellent radio controlled analog clock with digital day date and temperature display.
Perfect time keeping provided by radio control. Completely silent in operation. The analog clock face, with digital Day, Date and month shown inset, is a clearly legible display which includes ambient temperature in C or F.Note: the digital day and date display unit has a separate battery powered integral time keeping mechanism. Initially it must be set manually, because it is not connected to the radio control analog clock mechanism. Once set, the day and date change automatically in accordance with the settings combined with it’s own internal digital time keeper. After many years of searching, this is by far the best analog radio controlled wall clock I have seen.

Nice looking clock
Nice clock, useful features, I found that the domed glass could be a problem as it reflects windows and lights, it makes it difficult to see the time from some directions

Know the time, date and temperature
Large wall radio controlled wall clock, which sets the correct time itself as soon as you put the AA battery in. You also need another AA battery for the digital display showing the date and temperature, though the date has to be set manually and there is also the time to set manually so it knows when the day ends and it can change the date. The time on the LCD part starts at PM, so if you don't notice and it is 10am when you set it, you will set it to 10pm and the date will go wrong 'overnight'. It has a light tick, so it may not be suitable for a bedroom. The LCD display numbers for the date are 2cm high and the day and temperature characters are 1cm high.If you would like a quiet clock, I would recommend the Precision PREC0097 Radio Controlled LCD Wall Mountable and Desk Clock which I have on the wall in the hall next to the central heating thermostat and also the Unity 20 cm Radcliffe Radio Controlled 8-inch Wall Clock, White which I have in the bathroom. I would also recommend the Roberts Dual Alarm Clock Radio / CD for use in the bedroom, very quiet in operation and no buzz or hum from the motor (though it's not radio controlled unfortunately).

The clock is easy to read and maintains accuracy and winter/summer time adjustments, using the atomic clock radio signal.
The clock is easy to install, requiring one AA battery for the main clock and another for the day/month/temperature display. The clock will initially take about 10 minutes to automatically adjust itself to the correct time using the MSF radio signal from Cumbria which is linked to the NPL atomic clock in Teddington. The clock automatically time checks with the transmitter 12 times a day but is designed to only work in mainland UK and Ireland. The clock is 10 inches in diameter, easy to read and is not noisy as some reviewers have noted. In general, it is an excellent wall clock which is accurate and automatically adjusts for summer and winter time changes. The only criticisms I have are that the temperature reading is only in Celsius and has no option for Fahrenheit, and that it displays the date as month and day, and not the other way round as found in the UK.

full of scratch
The part was used i was aware , but the front of plastic was full of scratch. Unrepairable. The clock itself is fine .
