Dell Latitude E5550 didn't work well on a generic battery
So far, this DELL battery (actually 7.4V 51Wh) works great. I had used a generic battery which suddenly stopped being recognized by my system. It resulted in my laptop frequently and unexpectedly shutting down. This DELL branded battery was more expensive, but seems to be worth it so far. It holds its charge well. I had downloaded DELL Command Power Manager from the DELL website, which helped the laptop stay powered up more consistently before replacing the battery. Since installing this new battery, the system works well all the time.

Charged and Working Perfectly!!
I just installed my battery and it came 80% charged. It is holding charge which the original battery never even did. Soooooo happy with this battery! Price was just right.
