Clairol Shimmer Lights Purple shampoo & Conditions Very good product

This is a great product.It was recommended to me by the lady who cuts my hair.I enjoy using it.

It does not smell very good

Shampoo is wonderful and definitely removes brassy tones for blondes! Leaves my hair feeling silky and soft!Conditioner leaves my hair feeling coarse and dry and does not detangle, I fact the conditioner does quite the opposite!Will buy the shampoo but not the conditioner

The color radiates

First thing I noticed was the smell. Blech. Smelled of chemicals in a non-pleasing way. Next, I didn't notice significant brightening of my silver hair across the front of my head. *I had just relaxed my hair with a chemical relaxer for gray hair. The relaxer included a bottle of "Yellow Out," but I opted to try this Clairol product instead. My grays did not get much brighter than they already were. I washed my hair twice, leaving the Shimmer Lights shampoo on for 5 minutes each wash. Then I used the conditioner for 3 minutes.Perhaps this works better, or the results are more noticeable on blonde hair. I need to try it again before deciding whether or not to repurchase.

I am not used to using a lot of hair lighteners and colors my but new lady seems to love to do it so I did not want to spend an arm and a leg on product to keep up an already costly process. This seems to do the trick. I do add a little of my Head and Shoulders into the mix but that seems to be just fine. I try to use every 3rd day but sometimes it is just every other day but it styles nicely after word.
