I had version 1 of the product which I bought last year. It was a good product but the pad would become loose after prolonged use.Version 2 seems to have fixed this with an updated pad holder mechanism; it no longer becomes loose or slides around. It can a bit difficult to remove the pad from the paint edger for cleaning but I think it's a worthwhile trade off.Definitely my go to paint edger now. Works better than the previous model.

What an absolute waste of plastic! If I couldn't have returned it, it would have gone straight in the bin.It looks well made with a threaded handle so it will go on an extension pole and a rubber grip.But the actual pad is cheap, doesn't fit well and there's only small, plastic tabs on the holder to keep the pad in place, so when you start painting, the pad pops out.And then when you do manage to start painting, paint goes up the ceiling too, so no nice straight lines as it's meant to do.Useless.

With so much painting to do in the house I thought I would try various options of edging to see what was least time consuming.The wheels on this device help with speed however this is undone if the tiniest bit of paint briefly gets on them and you have to redo an area.I ended up just using it like a very expensive sponge.

The main tool is a little roughly built but the important part, the pad, is of reasonable quality. It’s meant to be updated after a number of reviews stating the pad can stick to the wall and come away from the handle, I didn’t have that issue so looks like they’ve fixed that problem. Ultimately the line, which is about 3 mm from the ceiling, is consistent, fine and as straight as the ceiling is. I found I could get about 1m before having to reapply the paint (directly to the pad using a paint brush so it’s not overloaded). It definitely saved me time and I was happy with the results. Much better than my efforts by hand.

Worked great! I had an entire apartment of 7 rooms to paint (all same colour) and with this I was able to ‘cut in’ all rooms in under 2 hours.I loaded paint onto it with a paintbrush ensuring not to cover the wheels at the top and worked in sections of about 4ft - 7ft on a step ladder before reloading it with more paint.If I was to nit pick… I didn’t use the foam handle opting for holding the back directly and don’t think the pole attachment would work to give the same edge. I would recommend buying additional paint pads as room 6 and 7 was pushing it a bit, but thankfully I felt I had gotten to know it and knew it’s limits before the pad would move out of position.Also be prepared for lots of reloading, but this is so much quicker than trying to cut in directly.Saved me time and money.

I thought this would be a great idea to purchase and certainly cut down the time cutting in and getting it straight. However first run was good then it went downhill from there - I was extremely careful putting the paint onto the pad but still went onto the ceiling. Rubbish - went into the bin. DO NOT BUY

I'm afraid of heights, so painting my own house is a nightmare. This saves so much hassle, as you can save going a few metres up a ladder by attaching this to a pole.Allowed me to get clean crisp lines on the top edge of my external walls, which I couldn't do with the roller or a brush.It'll be much smoother and less hard to slide on internal walls, but I can confirm it definitely gives a nice clean edge even on external render. Would love a second pad though.Only downside I noticed was the clamp holding the head can come loose, as it swivels to stay in the corner you're painting. Just tighten it every time you reload.

This is a great product that will help you achieve a straight line. The tip to have great results is to use a paint brush and lightly apply paint on the brush to the paint pad. Avoid touching the wheels with paint to achieve best results. Will highly recommended and purchase again.

Pratique pour peindre les murs sans toucher au plafond ou un angle de mur avec une couleur différente.Bien prendre garde à ne trop charger en peinture sinon cela déborde et fait des taches.Le seul hic, c'est que je ne trouve pas de patin de rechange d'où l'étoile en moins.

For a beginner or a slow pace painter maybe but as a tool poor craftsmanship and no replacement pads . Pad falls out

I have used this product twice and each time the pad will fall out if I done paint in one direction. very sturdy and the wheels don't seem to get clogged up with paint.

Wow, I love this product and have been so impressed with how accurate my painting is with this paint edger. Using just the right amount of paint has allowed the paint pad to remain firm which has allowed me to paint my whole room. I have already placed another order.
