Disappointed by the Short Shelf Life
I was excited to try this deodorant, and the scent is decent—fresh but nothing extraordinary. However, I was disappointed to find that the expiration date is next month. I expected a longer shelf life, especially for a product I won’t use up that quickly. It feels like I got an old batch, which makes me question its freshness and effectiveness over time. Wouldn’t buy again unless I could be sure of a later expiration date.

It's about time they offered me guac with my deodorant/anti-perspirant
I can't tell you how many times I've had to accept or reject an offer of avocado or guacamole on countless other items (sandwiches, nachos, burritos, salads, pizza, etc.), so it only seems fair that finally my deodorant and antiperspirant be given the same upsell opportunity. And this time, I said 'I do' to the 'ado'.What improvement or change am I really hoping to get from taking avocado off one pit and slathering it on another? I'm not sure.I'm a long-time user of Old Spice's deodorant and antiperspirant lines, so I know they work for me, and I know that when you apply their anti-perspirant it creates a VERY dry, friction-heavy feel to your underarm. Now, avocado oil, when applied to skin is supposedly an effective moisturizer, but I'm not certain I notice a difference in the addition here. The typical hyper-dryness of the Old Spice antiperspirant formula remain. Is there less friction because of this avocado oil? It doesn't feel like it. If I apply it and hop back in the shower the anti-perspirant still very much prevents the spot where it's been applied from feeling at all slick as any and all moisture is repelled. The avocado oil element hasn't changed that facet of the formula.***The One Difference I've Noticed after a couple of weeks of use***If I let myself be a little bit grosser than I like to be and don't shower daily but rather every other day, by day two, the anti-perspirant is still working but my skin definitely doesn't feel AS dry as it normally does due to the anti-perspirant forcing any and all water/moisture from the area. It's still actively fighting moisture, but some of the stiffness involved in wearing Old Spice's antiperspirant long-term seems to have given way.Maybe that's what the point of the avocado oil is?It remains unclear but there is a definite difference in that respect compared to their other deodorant/antiperspirant lines where as long as the antiperspirant is still active your armpit is a dead zone for any and all moisture.***Overall Value***This set of three bars is about on par with their other 3-bar packs at about $17 to $18, although if you get lucky with sales you can sometimes find a 3 pack for under $10, but in general each bar runs about $5.And since you're opting for the avocado, an extra $2 is to be expected. That's just basic guaconomics.
