My wife had been using the microwave heated eye compress for a while before I bought this for her, and she will never go back. You can change out the scent pack in it so the lavender (in our case) scent remains strong, and you can choose your heat level, which was not an option with the microwave compresses. So far it has had almost a year of near daily use and is holding up quite well.

This product is amazing. For years, I have used the microwavable eye masks for dry eye and they would always lose their heat within 10 minutes. This stays warm for an hour love it love it love it shut off by itself. You can set it for four different time limits and also set it for the temperature that you want. Can’t say enough great things about this product.

If you have aging eyes that need a warm compress each night (eye doctors suggest this), this is so easy to do. Pressure is just right. When I’m done with the heat, I use a blissy silk eye mask (to keep out light). The price is good. My first one lasted about 8 months (cover is washable), so I got another. I realize that does not sound durable but for me it is worth it. I will continue to replace as needed.

Ten months in and I still use it every day to treat "dry eye". It does take about 1 minute to come up to temperature, but has been consistent since day !.

I ordered this heated eye mask to deal with blocked tear ducts per the suggestion of my doctor.The 2 star rating is because I really like the mask but as you will see below, the automatic timer on the mask is defective.I ordered this mask because it had good reviews regarding softness, fit, and soothing heat. There were some reviews suggesting poor reliability. I chose to ignore these.When I used the mask, it was indeed soft, the fit was good, and the heating worked great.I really like this mask.However, when I used my iPhone to test the timer on the mask, I found that when I set the timer on the mask for "15 min", it shut off at 10 min. I then set the timer for "30 min" and it shut off at 10 min. The timer on the mask didn't even last for 2 uses.As I really like the mask, I will give the manufacturer of the devise the benefit of the doubt and let them send me a replacement. If the replacement works, then the first mask was defective.If you are thinking of buying this mask, I suggest you really think about your purchase.I will update this review after I receive the replacement.UPDATE: I am giving it 1 star!I received the replacement mask within a day.When I plugged in the mask and set the timer for 15 minutes, the timer shut down after 12 minutes. I was timing it using my cell phone.I was disappointed but I thought I would give the mask a second chance so I waited a day and set the timer for 30 minutes. It shut off in 14 minutes.I am returning the mask because I do not trust that the timer will last. While I can live with the 14 minutes of heat, my concern is that the timer is defective and it is highly likely that it will stop working very quickly.It is amazing to me that this company put effort into designing a comfortable mask that does apply comforting heat to the eyes but chose to attach the mask to a cheap worthless timing devise. If the timer doesn't work, the very nice mask is useless.Oh. by the way, I never experienced the lavender scent which was ok as I didn't want it any way.My recommendation is that you do not buy this mask because you cannot count on it being reliable.

This eye mask is great. I previously had the kind that you put in a microwave to heat. It actually caught fire and I had those little pellets all over the place (the fire was quickly extinguished). This mask heats evenly and there is no danger. I like that you can change the heat level. The only thing I would change would be for it to be wireless. It works OK for me because I typically use it at night and plug it into an outlet by my bed. It would be more convenient if that were not necessary. I like that it has a timer and cuts off automatically.

I love this eyemask. It has a timer so you don't over do it but I use it at night to calm my day, meditate and lull into sleep.I gasve these as gifts for the holidays which was well recieved!

While this mask helps dry eye symptoms, it could be improved. Only the high temperature setting and a 30 minute session provides the warmth needed for this therapy. The mask is also too thick to mold closely to the wearer’s eyes. The fabric cover is soft and comfortable to the touch, but the mask will ride high on one’s nose and not touch the eyelids without adjustment. Cinching up the head strap to pull the mask against your eyes makes it somewhat uncomfortable. This is an improvement over competing eye masks that are heated in a microwave oven (and can get too hot to touch), but it’s not the best device for this condition.Also, the power cord has a USB-A connector, which is falling out of use with the transition to USB-C in other devices. As the power cord cannot be detached from the eye mask and the mask does not ship with its own transformer, take care to have an older style transformer available for use with this product.
