This figure is very well made and solidly crafted. The paint makes it look authentic, and it really has good detail for the size. It would compare to Schleich as far as collectibles go, in my opinion. My ONLY, tiny gripe is the fact that this male is "intact." My children immediately zeroed in on that fact, and the poor buffalo has been a great source of amusement, and even been shamed by my oldest, for "showing off." Of course, I pointed out the fact that he's an accurate representation of the real deal, and took the opportunity for a brief anatomy lesson. If you don't want to have that conversation, you may look for a neutered version.
