Moroccanoil Blonde Perfecting Purple Shampoo & Conditioner Half-Liter Set

As someone who has maintained platinum blonde hair for almost 2 decades, I've tried just about every purple shampoo and conditioner on the market. I have tried salon brands and things that I can pick up at the drugstore but have my tried and true favorties.For background: my hair is damaged, dry and porous from years of chemical treatments. I baby my hair but know it's limits.Purple shampoo tends to be drying and most of the time comes with an unpleasant scent. I find that the options available currently are either lacking pigment and therefore, not really "toning" out the brasiness OR the color is so rich and pigmented that you have to be extremely careful with how long you keep it in.Having porous, or dry hair that wants to suck up any color/pigment/moisture, I have left the shower with bright purple streaks of hair. While this sounds cool, it actually looks incredibly splotchy and weird. I then have to go and scrub my hair with a clarifying shampoo or dish soap to remove the purple, further drying out my hair. My go to for a few years has been Fanola - while it is probably the deepest in purple color available, I have mastered the art of timing and diluting to get the results I want. Still, this leaves my hair dry and the scent, while not as bad as others, is not a salon aroma.Enter Morrocanoil.ok... WOW. That's all I can say. The shampoo is just the perfect amount of pigment and I have not had any issues with color grabbing to my dry ends. No need to dilute!The conditioner is, unlike many others on the market, very pigmented and makes a difference with use.The both smell GREAT and leave my hair less dry than others I've tried.I really like both the shampoo and conditioner and will be purchasing both once I run out!

Moroccanoil literally has the best smelling hair products ever & this did set not disappoint, same signature scent!!!It really helps tone down the orange brassy like colours that you do not want to be rocking!I recommended this set to my sister after a bleaching incident that went wrong and she is now hooked! The shampoo lathered well and was left on for 3-5 mins. My sis needed more than 1-2 mins for the conditioner, she actually let it sit for 5-6 minutes. She didn't want to go over that time (and also didn't need to as it worked perfectly!) as she was worried that it would turn her hair purple, which it didn't.She did use another purple haircare range & said how dry her hair felt afterwards, but it felt great after using this product, really soft & manageable.

Love the smell of Moroccan oil products! Purple shampoo definitely helps the brassy color. Love the shampoo, but the conditioner does not leave your hair feeling moisturizer. I ended up using a different brand for conditioner. Recommend the shampoo!

Got it for my wife and this is what she thinks about it. I've never bought purple shampoo or conditioner before, but I'm glad my husband did. After only few washes, my blonde hair is returning! I believed that becoming older was making my hair darker, and maybe it was. But the brass is going and I'm getting my beautiful blonde highlights back! Strawberry,nd welcome, dirty blonde! I also like the how it makes my hair feel. It feels better than it has ever felt.

First of all, the scent of both the shampoo and conditioner is amazing! The scent of a product is important to me and these products definitely passed the sniff test! After using both products, my hair felt and looked bright and revitalized! My blonde highlights were vibrant and my hair felt so healthy. The half liter bottles are generously sized and should last a while. I highly recommend!

Pumps didn’t work!

I love Moroccan Oil products, and this one is good. However, the purple goes everywhere. Even when you're careful, it goes everywhere. It also dries hair out. Definitely a minimal use.
