Fill, Scrape, Joint, Chop and Scratch Away!
I live in a fairly recently built house that seems to have a never ending list of filling jobs, cracks and repairs to do. I have had a few scrapers and jointing knives over the years and saw the Ox brand but this was the first Ox tool I have purchased. The Good -Its Blue, bright blue, which is surprisingly handy when you have a room covered in dust sheets, pots of paint, debris and other tools. It stands out so you aren't rummaging through tons of other bits to find it.The handle is sized perfectly for me, it's comfortable to hold with the rubber inserts giving both decent grip and some cushioning. It is well built. The handle is of a chunky weight without feeling like you are at the gym whilst using it, there is some flex in the blade but not to the point you worry it will snap under light pressure. The blade whilst not a Stanley knife is reasonably thin at the end allowing you to scrape wallpaper with ease.I have used it for a lot of different jobs and for me the best part is it's ease to clean, it hasn't developed a single rust spot where as my toolbox graveyard is littered with scrapers covered in rust.A quick wipe with warm soapy water has seen off all klinging materials so far.The could be better -Nothing to report so far that could be improved, excellent Jointing knife/scraper thats great to hold, hard wearing and easy to clean. If you need a new scraper or jointing knife or an introduction to Ox tools then you will not go wrong with this.Five Stars.

Beautiful and easy to use, simple to clean, makes me half-good at scimming
I had never done any form of scimming before and thought a 15cm/6" knife will be way to big for me to handle. But, no, this unit is an absolute pleasure to use. The handle is extremely comfortable and the blade has exactly the right amount of flex (and stiffness) for me. I bought other brand jointing knives at the same time (a 4" and a 10") and this is way better. Also very easy to clean... a run under cold water and a light rub of a sponge and it's spotless. But best of all, it's so nice to use, it allowed me to do a half-decent job as a newbie DIYer. A bit more expensive than other brands but go for it!

Lovely tool which works very well
This tool has just the right amount of spring. That handle is comfortable, and, best of all, it doesn't rust. I find this is a particularly handy size for applying plaster to joints, as well as being handy for more general tasks like filling screw heads and finessing into corners. All the OX tools I have bought have been well designed and finished.

Does the job as expected
Blade easy to clean handle can't be gently scraped clean as you will usually take of the material of the hand also,

Fantastic tool.
Great Quality and so useful. I've been stripping wallpaper at a friend's house and it's made such a difference than using my old 4 inch scraper. Also makes a Great Job in all the filling I've had to do. Would Highly Recommend.
