Great for testing alarms
Bought this because we upgraded to linked alarms as per the scottish requirements. Heat alarm in the kitchen winks with a little red dot, but the smoke alarms are completely blank, and I was worried if they were actually working.Light this, blow it out, and wave it under an alarm, perfect proof the that things are doing what they're supposed to do, and you get a warm fuzzy feeling about safety that you don't get with just using the test button on the alarms themselves. Plus you get a small, clear, straight plume of smoke that's great for spotting draughts.

This tool produces a lot of smoke which isn’t unpleasant. It has helped find some very sneaky leaks in our house.

Expensive smoke pen
Bought to trace draughts. Not as much smoke as I was expecting but it did as required. Far too expensive for what it is so I will try Joss sticks next time. Item arrived as promised, so no issue with retailer. Will be happy to use this seller again.

Basically a wick holder
Very simple thing which feels overpriced for what it is. Not easy to detect exactly where the breeze is coming from. The wicks burn through pretty quickly.
