This has to be the out and out best potato masher on the market. Its ergonomic, easy to use and takes very little effort to mash boiled spuds.The main thing is the cutters are narrow and slightly sharpened this makes cutting through whatever you are mashing very easy.Obviously fine for any veg you want to mash, will even puree if you keep at it.Cleans easily in the sink and just as easily in the dishwasher.

I love this masher. It makes extremely easy work of mashed potatoes, slicing through them effortlessly. The chunky, rubber handle is very ergonomic and I love the rounded end. It sits perfectly in my palm and doesn't dig in at all. The handle is also shaped so it is perfect to use with my hand wrapped around it and the end poking out the top for a different mashing action. A quick rise under the tap when I've finished mashing gets rid of all the excess potato but I still like to pop it into the dishwasher. Being metal, it is very sturdy and can really cope with forceful mashing without bending (unlike plastic mashers). Absolutely brilliant and I wish I'd bought one years ago. I most definitely recommend it.

Dear me - a review for a simple item? ! Yes indeed ... this was worth my efforts. This masher cuts through the potato rather than trying to push it through shaped holes. It can cope with unpeeled potatoes, though some bigger peel may get a bit caught up (easily removed). It is not the easiest to wash-up if you let it dry, but a sink brush or a dishwasher will get the perfect results we need from cleaning a food item.This comes into it's own though as a vegetable whisk - let me explain. Mash potatoes, add some more butter and then use the masher in a circular motion around the pan. It makes the best, most fabulous puree potatoes you have ever eaten.. It adds air to the mix and makes them light and soft. YUMAlso does well with every other thing you can hope to mash, and will do a good job to make a chunky soup if you don't want to wash up a whizzer.Not a gadget - a workhorse

I have spent years trying to find a masher that REALLY works. Most of them have holes that are too small or too big. I was sick to death of lumpy mash. Then I saw this. I wasn't at all sure because it doesn't look like a 'normal' masher. Thank goodness it isn't. This is the BEST I have ever had. It is easy to hold and does the job without you having to be a weight lifter to press down on it. Really creamy mashed anything and everything. It's a joy to use. If you want a simple tool that does the job perfectly, then this is for you. It's very well built and sturdy and I am sure will last for very many years happily mashing away for you.

Can a potato masher ever be considered exquisite? Probably not, but this one's really good. It's comfortable to use, works really well and is nice and sturdy. I had it in my list for months after I saw a recommendation for it because, well, I could never get excited enough about a potato masher to buy a second one, but the second my previous masher's handle loosened a milimetre I knew it was time. Much better than my old one. Pricey, but I deserve a good masher. I'm worth it.

It’s so easy to use and the perfect shape for whisking the potatoes up as your finishing off to make it light and fluffy. Cuts through the potatoes with no problem at all after you have drained them and a good sized handle that doesn’t need a vice like grip to do the job.
