Worked when all other tools had failed
Spent over a day trying to get a 30 year old seized brass tap connector off with all sorts of tools from proper pluming tool to adjustable wrenches and spanners (all slightly rounding the edges!) - evening tapping it with a hammer to break the seal and using heat to expand and contract - nothing moved. Within 5 minutes of opening this and two goes at loosening it - it gave a cracking noise and opened up as if it was put on yesterday. 5 minutes and tap fixed, water back on, everybody happy!
