Electric Carving Knife - 8-Inch Serrated Stainless-Steel Blade Cutter with Comfort Grip Handle for Slicing Turkey and Meat by Classic Cuisine (Black)

The Good: (1) Purchased for slicing homemade bread, and slices well through a crusty-crust, soft interior.(2) I love the ease of the cut with this knife, though not as well made as a similar knife I purchased over 3 decades ago. This is a light weight knife.The Not So Good: (1) Tricky to get the blades in, I need to hold the blades together at the insertion end wearing gloves for cutting with knifes.(2) Would not recommend for meats, such as a smoked turkey. Son used it not knowing knife was purchased for bread only, and the blades were dulled at the tip, and he could not cut the turkey (tender, juicy, though with a thick skin). So, I'm purchasing new blades and a new knife.(3) The blades never did work as they should in unison; perhaps because of the materials used to make the blades (they are thin), and the plastic for the based.Final Grade: B- and I just bought another one because of price and wonderful bread slicer.Thank you for reading my review.

I bought this because I was re-cushioning and recovering my kitchen chairs and I know an electric knife does a good job at cutting the foam. I had 2 inch high density foam and the electric knife cut through it great!! maybe someday I’ll try cutting meat with it ha ha

Works exceptionally well. Using mostly to slice Sourdough Boule.

I used to cut foam for gun, other cases, and works great for that.

Bought this for cutting a memory foam mattress topper my niece purchased to make a cushion for a window seat. I was charged with cutting the foam & sewing the cover. I've cut foam before without an electric knife & was always disappointed in the results - always crooked & jagged. But this cut like a literal hot knife through butter. The only issue was keeping it at a 90 degree angle, which took a bit of practice. You'll see I have it three stars on how easy it is to hold, but please consider I had to hold it differently than you would for carving meat.

Flimsy

This thing is a piece of junk. Doesn't cut through the homemade bread that I bought it to use for.
