Fab beginner electric bike
This is a beautiful bike, the battery is flush in the frame and can be removed and on their website a spare can be bought if you need to go further. I'm 15stone and in level 5 I've done 46km and there is half charge left so it's range is decent (flat area). Negatives are the motor needs some force to kick in, it's a heavy bike at nearly 30kg so your legs feel the initial push. Motor stops at 25km/15mph and I don't struggle to manually keep it at 26-30km with my legs... the motor kicks in when I tire or I get to an incline and it's mostly the weight of the bike that slows you down. It comes pretty much ready to ride tighten up all the loose bits. I had to tune the indexing a bit as the chain was grating the front mech and the noise would drive me mad, but now it works a charm. Mine has 34 gears (8 speed cassette and 3 speed chainset) at some point I might try to drop some kgs off it by changing to a single chainset, taking off panier rack and moodguards and changing to a carbon forks and a carbon gravel front wheels/tyres...
