Heavy robust wheel clamp which is adjustable to accommodate different wheel sizes and thicknesses. Fits great and seems very strong. It’s a bright yellow colour so acts as a big deterrent.Was fiddly trying to put it together but this is just during set up and once it’s put together you’ll not need to put it together again. It’s easy to fit and remove. All in all I’m happy with it.

A bit fiddly to fit, but looks sturdy, and acts as a deterrent to any thief.

We struggled to find a clamp small enough for what we wanted it for, but amazon had one, its great and easy to use.

A heavy and very solid wheel clamp which with a bit of work, should be a good safeguard for my trailer.As other reviews have highlighted, the clamp assembles with allen bolts, and unless you are very lucky with your wheel size (I wasn’t) it’s impossible to keep all four sets of bolt heads wedged inaccessible against the wheel.If one set is exposed, then anyone with an allen key can remove the clamp in minutes.I’m tempted to grind off some paint and weld the arms in place, but that would mean only ever using the clamp on one size of wheel.As a stop-gap I’ve filled the bolt head sockets with araldite. That should deter the opportunist thief, and if I switch to a different trailer in the future, I can always cut a slot in the bolt heads and undo them with a screwdriver.

I have been unfortunate to have a couple of trailers stolen and needed to discourage future thefts. The Maypole Wheel clamp has stopped thefts. I am not sure if it will stop a determined thief, but it is definately discouraging. Easy to assemble, easy to fit and adjustable.

The media could not be loaded. BEWARE! The Maypole MP909 10”-16” wheel clamp that I purchased in December 2022 is not fit for purpose. It is described as being a deterrent with a “High security corrosion proof pick free lock”. The lock is not pick free as my video shows. It can be opened using the small screwdriver attachment on a Leatherman Multitool.I needed to remove the wheel clamp to sell the trailer and could not insert the key. The first thing I found was that the clamp could be removed in less than 5 minutes using an Allen key. Not much of a deterrent!After discovering that the lock could be picked using my Leatherman I contacted Maypole. Their response has been less than impressive. One of their joint CEO’s asked me to send the item back for investigation by their technical department but would not refund the cost of the item. They believe that Amazon have already refunded me, without receiving the item back! This is after I sent them a video showing the lock being opened with my Leatherman.Prospective purchasers and existing owners of Maypole wheel clamps should be aware that their models MP5433/5434 and 5435 appear to use the same lock mechanism according to their photographs and describe the lock as “High security pick free”.

This is perfect for our 12” wheels, it says will fit 10 to 16 inch and I have no doubt. Very sturdy and easy to fit. Another great Maypole product. Sadly no instructions so had to use the picture on the box but after a little effort was very easy to put together and is a perfect fit due to being fully adjustable. Fully recommended
