Wish I had this years ago.
This makes soldering MUCH easier. I bought one that fits Milwaukee M18 batteries. Heats up very fast and self feeding solder is like having an extra hand. Worth every penny . If you solder for electrical connections you will be happy with this great little soldering tool.

Used many times. Works a treat.

Not bad
It's ok for basic work I wouldn't want it to be my main every day use

Poor choice
It does not come with the required battery and the charger. There is no offer of its battery for purchase on Amazon. No clear instruction as to what battery fits it. Even if you find a suitable battery Milwaukee lithium batteries are very expensive and also you need a charger. $200 battery and charger for a $28 solder.

DeWalt batteries did not fit.
It took a dremel and some chisels to modify the battery dock quite a bit to get genuine 20v Dewalt battery or a clone battery to engage enough to actually stay in place and make contact with the pins. I would say it took me about 15 minutes to do the surgery and the plastic is soft enough that it doesn’t have to be precise.30watts is not a lot of bang for your bucks but it’s a tool that if I only need it once, it could be one of those jobs where a gob of solder is the difference between getting something up and running that is worth 10 times the cost of the tool and profiting, or one of those days that you hear the sound of money being sucked out of your pocket. The battery dock was a minor annoyance but less annoying than returning it by driving to UPS and wasting hours of time. If you are moderately handy and can measure what needs to be removed with calipers and have a sharp razor saw, a dremel and cut off wheel and a few less than 1/4” wide chisels for the tight corners, you should be golden.Ironically I had the thought that if I could have it powered up, it could have been used to melt away the ill fitting abutments and slide portions. The self contained solder and trigger feed eliminates the need for a third or fourth hand, and again that can mean faster get er done or fumbling around with alligator clips or the like.Look around, there’s some other ones exactly the same for 10 bucks less, and some 10 bucks more.

It actually works!
I was skeptical about this thing but surprisingly it actually works! It got to operating temperature pretty quickly and had no issues soldering together the two 18gauge wires I tried it out with. I will try to find more things to test it on and I will update the review later if it cr_ps out prematurely

It awesome.
I bought this after having to do multiple outdoor projects always had to be running extensions or using butane soldering irons but this is totally worth every penny spent. Can’t complain. It heats up really quick not messy. I definitely would recommend this.
