Tasted off
All the candy included are my favorites and I’ve had them many times.. so I was very disappointed when most of the candy I tasted just didn’t seem right. I’m not sure if it was stored improperly or they were old or what but something was not right. I had to throw most of them away unfortunately. I’m hoping the seller will contact me for a refund.

This shouldn't be in the normal snack category.
Mexican Candy Mix. The real thing is scary. Poor quality packaging visible to the naked eye, full of pigmented food. This shouldn't be in the normal snack category. It's terrible.

Great Variety Pack of Mexican Candy
This Mexican Candy Mix takes me back to my childhood, where brightly colored bottles of sour and/or spicy powders, pastes, juice, or lollipops were a fun treat that we could buy from the ice cream truck if we didn't want a popsicle. This is absolutely candy with no nutritional value, and it tastes like nostalgia. If you like sour tamarind, chili mango, and spicy chamoy flavors, then you will love this assortment. None of the candies were spicier than a standard chili chamoy sauce, although the chili powders can definitely cause a bit of a spice tickle/cough due to both the heat and the dryness of the powder. While this assortment of Mexican candy is not for everyone, it is a fun novelty or a bit of nostalgia for anyone who enjoys sweet, sour, and spicy treats.

Yum
These Mexican candies are pretty tasty. Most of them are pretty spicy though, I would say these would be giftable, but only if you ordered them to yourself and repackaged them. pretty cool flavors.

A great variety of unique candies, but flavors are hit or miss
My husband and I have not had a lot of exposure to Mexican candies. I see them at stores sometimes, but I have no idea where to start so I thought this collection would be fun. This assortment of candy featured a variety of flavors so different from what we were used to, we had to try it. There’s a pretty broad range of types of candy here, though we didn't care for all of them. The “Salsaghetti” is a sour-string style candy dusted in Mango or Watermelon flavor, as well as other spices. This one had a great texture and was fun to eat, but when we tried the Mango flavor we couldn’t identify it as “mango” until we read the packaging. How much you enjoy these will depend on how you like the Tamarind flavoring that accompanies the core flavor. The Gusano candy is a sweet liquid in a squeeze bottle -- this one is fun for kids to eat, but because of the way the bottle squirts, it can get messy easily. The bottles we tried described it as a “hot” candy, but it wasn’t at all spicy. The Chamoy flavor was very unique, however, and unlike anything, you’d find in the US market. My favorite of the set was the Muecas lollipops. These are hard candy suckers that you can dip in a reservoir of sour sugar. The Green Apple flavor was great, and so sour that I had to drink a glass of water to go with it. A great option if you love sour candies. Although the “lollipop” here does look like a long, extended tongue, it is easy to spill sour sugar on the floor when you shake the lollipop in its dip container.

Yes, most Mexican candy is spicy - surprise!
I don’t know why some of the other reviewers are leaving bad reviews just because they personally didn’t like it. Most people know that Mexican candy, especially Lucas brand, makes spicy candy. This variety box came with many different types of candy. There was a squeeze liquid, spaghetti noodle candy, powder, suckers with powder, goey candy with gum, and a couple others. The flavors were watermelon, chamoy, tamarind, cherry, sour, apple, chili powder, and mango. All of the flavors were either sour, spicy, or a mix of both. Some of them were very acidic in flavor. My favorite was the green apple sucker with sour powder. You lick the sucker and then dip it in the powder. We also liked the sour liquid. All of the flavors were unique and not something we are used to. There was a couple we didn’t like but that was just personal preference. I can see why these are popular over in Mexico! We actually used the chamoy powder and put it on cucumbers to eat and it was really good.If you aren’t used to Mexican candy or spicy candy, don’t get this because it won’t be for you. If you’re looking for something different and unique then you should definitely try these out!
