I bought this because I hate letting my phone sit on the charging plug/bent cable while resting it on my lap or leg during use. This convenient little adapter gives me a nice, flat surface for it to rest on instead! The only thing it's missing is a little chain or lanyard to attach the adapter to the cable so I can keep it at the ready when it's not in use. (I have usb-c to micro adapters that come with a little chain to hang them on my charging cables - that'd be really nice to be able to use here.)The one thing that could be a problem for some is a thick or rugged phone case, as that will prevent the plug from reaching the connector due to the right angle of the adapter. Luckily I just changed phones and my new phone case is thinner near the connector. My old case was thicker and the adapter would not have worked with it.

Simple product, does what is says it does, if you need it buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Adapters like this are not valid under the USB-C spec, but I needed a 90 degree connecter on my USB-C keyboard and this was cheaper than a new cable. I don't know that I would trust this for charging a device, but it works wonderfully for a low power, low speed device like a keyboard.

I have a couple of Lenovo laptops and the way the power cord sticks out makes it vulnerable to getting bumped.This adapter changes the angle of the plugged in cord and keeps it safe.

i mean if you need it, you buy it, you get it, it works. I got mine for a midi controller and all communication and power is present and works as if cable is directly connected. good buy

They look a lot higher quality in the photos than in person, some small burs and plastic seams present. The fit is a bit harder than I like but they function fine.
