No surprises for pro mark products. They are always excellent. Well made, the forward balance is excellent for me and my playing style. If you haven’t tried, it is well worth trying these to see how they suit as they feel very different from a rebound stick.

A good stick, nothing special, that said I can't fault them in any way, I recommend.

In love with my new drum sticks. However, a bit annoyed as they send me one that was the wrong size. They did the same to my fiance drummer and my friend.

Maybe I'm not as strong as I think I am or maybe I naturally play lighter using these sticks, but after a gig not only did this manage to help me bring the volume level down without changing how I play, but they looked like I barely used them afterwards! I'm not a hard hitter, but I have managed to break a brand new 5A before the end of a 45 minute set (though probably just a fluke).These sticks held up through two 90 minute sets and looked like I had barely touched them. I can't explain it. The 5As I use are also Promark Hickory, but there's just something about these 7As.Don't get me wrong, any gigs where I'm allowed to be louder, I'm picking the 5As. But for playing quieter without changing my dynamics or switching to rods or brushes, these sticks are great.

I was sure I ordered 5B not 5A. Oh well, they're great sticks just a tad thinner than I would like. Very durable. I've rarely had a bad pair ( cheaper stick nylon tips tend to fly off easier ) . They are expensive but you don't go through as many .Save money , buy quality .I prefer the unfinished as opposed to the finished. Better grip .I don't use gloves...So far.
