One of the most useful travel adapters, although not the _very_ smallest
The USA & Swiss versions of this (sadly it appears both no longer available) have served me well for some years. Very handy on airplanes although it can sometimes be a tight fit (looking at you Virgin Atlantic with power sockets tucked away in seat-side cubby holes!). However, it would be tricky for the adapter to be smaller given what it offers. Perfect in hotels as you can tap a USB device (just one however) plus a plug-in PSU from the same wall socket e.g. iPhone & laptop. Very well built - its predecessors show no wear & tear at all despite being carelessly rattled around in cabin bags.

Really Useful
I've bought a few of these from Amazon over the years as they are very good, sturdy and never really had an issue with them. The reason for buying a few is for other family members and to have as a spare. Highly recommended.

Good well made.
Well made adaptor with the USB charger cuts down on what I need to carry in my suitcase. The world wide side of the adaptor (that you would plug your UK plug into) will not accept EU plugs with the side earth or the centre pin type a good safety feature since if an appliance needs an earth you would be prevented from using it, it will take the EU two pin type but not a shaver plug.

Nicely made product, but USB power is weak
I thought this looked like a nice compact adapter, and the integrated USB socket seemed ideal for an upcoming trip.The plug is nicely made and seems solid. As a socket adapter it's good quality.I then tested it charging an Anker power bank. I have a charge meter so I can see what's happening. From a different brand wall adapter I was getting 5v charging at 2A - but when I switched over to this the voltage measured a low 4.9v. This caused the power bank to scale its charge rate back to just 1.2A.I'm giving this 3* since it's a decently made product but with a weak USB power circuit - which means you're unlikely to get the 2.1A charge rate they advertise.
