Works, but a bit awkward
It does what it's supposed to do, but this isn't the best menstrual cup for me. It might be a good menstrual cup for you, though, if you need this particular shape.I ordered the Small, which is not actually very small. I had never tried a disc-shaped cup before, and I wanted to see if I liked them. I did have a bit of difficulty inserting and removing it. It was also not exactly uncomfortable to wear, but I could definitely feel it throughout the day, which made me feel a little self-conscious/made me want to check a little more frequently to make sure it was doing its job. This was a problem even after a few days of trying it out and attempting to find a "best method" of insertion for myself, so while it could be user error, I am more inclined to think the size/shape is just not right for me.I had the best luck doing everything in the shower, as it was a messy experience. Personally, I find the tulip/bell-shaped cups with removal stems easier to work with, but this is still better than having to wear disposable pads or tampons. I'll keep it for times when I know I won't be leaving the house and I'll be taking a shower or two, like gardening or workout days. You might like this if you have trouble with smaller or differently-shaped (tulip/bell/ergonomic) menstrual cups leaking or if you just otherwise haven't had success with cups. I recommend reading up on the different shapes of cups if you've never tried one at all before, though, because we're all a little different down there and what works for one person might be an uncomfortable mess for another.

Sustainable and better than single-use period products but has quite a learning curve
I’ve been using a period cup for years, which has been a total game-changer. It has saved me hundreds of dollars, is much more sustainable, and is just an overall better option in more ways than I can count. Having never tried a menstrual disc before, I was curious and needed to see how it measured up to period cups.Yes, the Mascoto menstrual disc works - but the learning curve was steep (even for an experienced period cup user). I just could not tell if I had inserted it correctly, and it did not unfold or sit the way I am used to. As the lip of the disc is so much wider, the insertion and folding/unfolding process was also harder than a period cup. I also found removal messier and more difficult. I can only imagine what it would be like for first time users who have never used a period cup before. Perhaps I’m just inserting it wrong as well, but I found that it did not contain as much as my cup as was better suited for light days. That is not to turn people off the idea of menstrual discs/cups. Some people genuinely prefer one or the other after much practice, and that has to do with anatomy and fit as well. Going through the pains of learning how to use both and figure out your preferences is ultimately worth it as there are advantages to each. The biggest issue with the Mascoto menstrual disc in particular is the lack of robust instructions. For something with such a learning curve, the instructions were spartan and you may have to do further research online in order to obtain the best results.Still recommend pairing with a pad on your heaviest day and/or when learning to use it in case of leaks.

Love it
So, I've had 4 kids. Most cups/disks say to get bigger ones. But 3 of those 4 were creations, and it's been almost 11 years since the vaginally delivered kid. The larger ones are uncomfortable and I think too large as my body kind of pushes it out. This small sized one is great, it sits where it's supposed to, doesn't slip or leak, and can fight a good fight against my annoyingly heavy flow. Its comfortable to wear, and a great color! Disks and cups come with learning curves and they differ from each other. Don't get defeated, keep trying (i recomend with some backup protection at first), and you will figure it out! Best decision I ever made was switching to reusable menstrual products!

Disc is a good alternative to cup
These work just like a product I used in the mid-2000's before the diva cup came out, it was called "Instead," and was disc-shaped like this is. Once you get the hang of how to insert it, it's easy. Pinch two sides together so it's narrow, insert, and tuck the edge up behind your pubic bone. That keeps it in place and so far so good with this disc. The coolest part is that it contains the menstrual blood even while having sex, which the cups don't allow.

Sustainable natural option, not for me though
I ordered the small size and it is still fairly large. I like the idea of reusable menstrual products. I have used other cups and wanted to try this disc style. I like the color and the material This item is made out of. I found the disc difficult to insert. There may be a bigger learning curve than I am willing to put in the effort for.Not for me.

A bit large
I normally use cups, and have tried disposable discs before but never a reusable one. The quality feels strong overall, and it's thin and flexible. However, I ordered the small and still felt that the size was too large for me. Getting it seated comfortably into a position that it won't leak is a whole struggle. Everyone is different down there, so I'm sure it'll work great for others but maybe it's just not for me!
