Amodex Ink & Stain Remover - (From Leather)

When initially applied to the leather seat it appeared not to budge the ink marks and left discolouring of the leather HOWEVER like magic two days later the ink was gone as was the discolouring.

I put this product on leather stool and left it on for an hour. It removed the black ball pen stain but changed color of leather a bit lighter.

I used this product to remove ink from my leather chair like it recommends and is absolutely useless told the supplier who said some times it works some times it don’t well thank you very much.

I used this product on pen marks on my leather arm chair, it does not work quickly so left it on the mark for a few hours… in that time it took off the ink, but also a skin layer of the leather …

We used this to remove hair dye from a white sofa (a very big ask!) and it removed most of it on the first application. That's pretty good I think!

Didnt work at all... ok so maybe thats unfair. it did get some of the stain out but only the superficial bits, the stains is very much there still.As my stain was pretty old (about a year), I worked at it from all angles, leaving the remover on for some time, scraping gently with a toothbrush, doing it a few times over the course of a weekend, and yet, the stain was still there.Again, as my stain was pretty old, that might be the reason why it didn't work properly so I don't know what it would do to a fresh ink stain. On that it might actually work.

Worked well enough.

I have an aging leather sofa - aging, but clean - so when two whiskers of ink appeared on the left arm rest I sought a removal solution. Foolishly, I failed to take a ‘before’ photo, but one was about three millimeters long, the other shorter. As the packaging recommends, I did test for colourfastness, and finding no problem, felt confident to proceed.The result is a sofa truly transformed! Instead of a slight stain on the arm, I have two black craters reminiscent of cigar chars. It gives the whole thing an air of the basement in a nineteen seventies’ gentlemen’s drinking club, and now all my leisure time is accompanied by the theme from ‘Minder‘ on a loop.In summary, then: not brilliant.
