Murad Essential-C Overnight Barrier Repair Cream - Environmental Shield Vitamin C Moisturiser - Helps Neutralise Pollutants, Brighten and Smooth Skin, 50ml

This is definitely an overnight cream. It feels a bit heavy, but it absorbs by morning to leave skin moisturized. It smells like freshly squeezed oranges.I was a bit confused when I didn't see Vitamin C or orange oil on the label. I looked up more information on the Murad website, and I found that it has Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, which is a potent antioxident form of Vitamin C. I'm not sure if the orange scent comes from that or the fragrance added. See my photo for the ingredient label on the box.I love that this jar has a pump that helps you easily dispense the product. It keeps the product more airtight. The jar unscrews if needed.I find that Vitamin C is the one ingredient that really gives my normal but "mature" skin a dewy glow, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this potent form compares to others I have used after a few weeks. This seems to be a high quality product and worth a try.

I really like this moisturizer it isn't greasy it moisturizes very well so I mainly use it at night so it helps during the colder months. Murad is a skincare brand I mainly used to use for their acne cleansers and spot treatments this cream is very nice.

I recognized the brand as being a good name. The product has a lovely very slight fragrance. It goes on silky smooth and absorbs well. My skin feels nice and soft when it is applied. I have not noticed any real difference in my skin tone. I don't usually see differences with other products either. I just think it is a bit pricey.

I've used other skin products from Murad and find them to be a reliable source. There is a lot of evidence that Vitamin C is great for the skin so there are many such products out there. From what I've read, once the product is exposed to air, the effectiveness of vitamin C is greatly-reduced. Since this cream comes in a cool dispenser that allows you to only dispense what you need, I'm hoping the rest of the cream doesn't get the exposure to air and loses the "power" of the vitamin C. In any case, I love the dispenser and the cream feels incredible on my skin when it's applied. I have dry, sensitive skin and have had no issues with this product. It is a bit pricey but still much less than a lot of products out there.

It went on great and thats about all its got going for it. I swear it made my wrinkles worse, but maybe thats just what should have been there and the cerave was keeping me looking better than it had any right to. Regular cerave and my skin dont like each other for anything but wrinkles though.So.. onto something new again
