Best USB 3.0 Multiport for the price
This has been a workhorse for my spouse's home office. We first bought one in 2022, and it worked flawlessly. We've connected a VGA monitor (USB-A to VGA adapter), scanner, and two printers (laser and thermal label printer) through the unpowered ports, which left us with the two powered ports for charging and an extra for a thumb drive. It worked flawlessly for 3 years. The original one stopped working last week. Not sure if it was just dead, or if it was the only house casualty of a power outage caused by high wind, but it was DOA. We looked locally for a replacement because we needed one fast, and could not find one that had this many ports for less than $150. Fortunately, I found one with fewer ports that could get my spouse through to a delivery of the new one. Highly recommended, it's the best one I've found for this price. I also appreciate the design, with the power plug on the opposite side of the USB plugs. The one I found locally has the plug jack on the same side as the USB ports, which is awkward to have on a desk.

One of the only USB hubs with two quick charge ports
I ended up getting this Pluggable USB hub after looking extensively for one that had QC ports that were also actual USB ports. Most of the hubs with charging ports, the charging ports are not USB, just charging ports. This one actually has two ports that can deliver a fairly rapid charge AND also connect to the parent USB port, making it perfect for charging AND connecting phones without swapping ports. Also, those ports work great on a USB powered Blu Ray drive without having to use extra power plug.I did have to exchange my first one as the left charge port didn't connect to USB (but it did charge), the replacement is working excellent. I also like the ports are on the side, making the jumble of cables more manageable than pointing upwards. Not full 3A USB-C charging speed, but I do at least get a "charging" indicator on my Pixel, instead of the "slowly charging" I get from other powered hubs. Overall, it has excellent features and works well for the price.

Great, but has an expiration date
I just purchased my 3rd one of these. In my experience, they last about 2 years, and then suddenly die. As others have reported, the power supply is still good, it just randomly stops and won't turn on. That said, I'm buying my 3rd unit because, until it dies, it's incredibly solid. I know that sounds odd, but hear me out.In my situation, I plug in several hard drives and do a LOT of data transfer. With other hubs, I would experience random disconnects, and issues I couldn't quite pin down. Was the issue the hard drive? The USB/SATA enclosure? The hub? Well, turns out it was the hub. I used numerous other hubs from various other reputable brands. They would all exhibit these random issues. However, this Plugable unit does not. It's solid. All of those random disconnect issues completely went away, and I've been a happy camper. You forget it's even there. So yes, it does indeed die after 2 years. I really wish it would last a little longer than that. However, until that moment, it's very reliable. For that reason, I'm buying my 3rd one now. In my opinion I'd rather have a hub that's 100% reliable and then suddenly stops at the end of its life, rather than a hub that gives you random issues the whole time you have it.

High Performance Powered USB 3.0 Hub
After many years of service my previous brand USB hub finally failed. I wanted a USB hub to use in my office to keep the USB more easily accessible to flash drives, as well as my 2 USB transmitters for my Logitech M-50 wireless trackball and 3DConnection space mouse. This hub was low profile with front access so it fits under my monitor within easy reach. The source USB cable and power cable come off the back working perfectly with my other cable routing. I keep a USB cable here to use for transferring pictures from my phone or camera to the computer. I used 2 small pieces of double stick mounting tape and secured it to the top of my Netgear network switch. The instructions were clear and straightforward. The AC power supply block is a side mount so it doesn't wipe out a bunch of spaces on my surge protector. It has a power switch safely on the back (which I will never use) so it will not be accidentally hit while plugging/unplugging devices or cables. The 2 charging ports can be used when the computer is off (for charging). It is well made with high quality fit and finish, and good packaging for shipping. Well worth the purchase price. So I moved up from a slow old 4 port to a hot new 7 port.

Get yourself a new Android computer or how to maximize the power of your phone/tablet
I really like the value for the money that this powered USB product has. I respect other opinions but I really needed an USB hub and not a xmas tree as other comparable products. Now I'm going to tell you the reason of this product... Being myself and old fart that really enjoy reading books through the day instead of wasting time on chat applications and being myself a big person that has all thumbs on the hands I find sometimes challenging long 'typing's on my phone and tablet, so...... I got myself an 1Tb HDD and a beautiful mechanical AUKEY keyboard, also, a trackball that now I have connected to this wonderful USB hub!!!, so, now I can download from the phone/computer all those books, music, movies to the HDD and only carry the ones I'm enjoying on the phone or my tablet trough an OTG USB cable saving space on both (phone and tablet) and sharing all this media with the rest of the family (Actually now I got myself two new android 'computers'; the phone and the tablet). So, now you know why I needed a powered non-xmas tree USB hub, in fact I'm writing this review from the phone itself hocked to the hub, keyboard, mouse and HDD, while I'm selecting the PDFs that I'll download for my next readings...Enjoy!!!
